I don't think he ever really became a Joker worthy of confronting Batman in the first movie. Leaf is an interesting actor but he was just so Autistic and odd in the part, even when he makes his final appearance. He isn't really intelligent or cunning. He's just a loser who inspires other losers to become these riotous Antifa nutters. He'd be easy to defeat for any competent Batman. Bale would be screwed, unfortunately.

The ad breaks on streaming are unnatural and feel especially irritating because you're watching something you've selected to view in an app. With cable, you're tuning in to a station's live programming and usually whatever you're watching comes as a surprise, which softens the blow.

It's better on cable with ad breaks. I'm not sure why they have these black bars for this broadcast. When it's on the Ted Turner network they get rid of those.
