Watching The World is Not Enough in 4K. It’s a Christmas movie.

Is T2 worse than True Lies though? It seems like a lateral move but many have declared that to be the most offensive “4K” transfer ever.

I wasn’t given the option of taking her when my cousin kicked me out of the house. Now she’s blaming Shiner because my other cousin’s idiotic dog tried to kill their other dog when they stayed there. How that mind works is a mystery wrapped in a puzzle inside an enigma.

I usually don’t like the vivid picture settings but the lower tiers tend to make the picture dull and lifeless. It’s either bright and blinding or dark and disturbing. I wish I still had the THX calibration tool with the blue glasses.

That “All Changes” video series leaves out many things. On home video prior to the Special Edition, I remember two versions of the scene where Artoo is captured by the Jawas. One appeared to be daylight and in the other it was darker. I distinctly remember my tape looking different than a version I watched on TV.

The light squares around the ships weren’t visible in the theater. I remember seeing the Special Edition in early ‘97 and all that stuff was MIA. When I eventually got it on tape, the “shields” as we referred to them were back. Our televisions are too bright.
