bruce marshall reacted to Tom Guernsey in What is the last piece of classical music you listened to?
Have to admit that dissonance isn’t something I instantly associate with Delius. I mean I don’t like that sort of endless dissonance either but a bit of crunchy dissonance for dramatic effect works great for me. Probably why late romantic/early 20th century music is some of my favourite. Probably why I find a lot of contemporary film music dull as it’s so harmonically dull. But then I feel the same about Mozart and Haydn etc.

I'll use @Andy's reasoning and say 'Jaws 2.'
Was too young to see it on the Big Screen, and no repertory cinema here will show it, so I may be stuck to rent a theatre!
Another one is 1981's 'Clash of the Titans.'

The Italian male figure skater performed to Interstellar. It was pretty good!

bruce marshall reacted to filmmusic in Composers you have listened to only one score of theirs
I'm not sure I have listened to Stripes (I certainly haven't seen the film) but I would add to that list my favourite Bernstein which is The Age of Innocence.
And you both should of course listen to The Ten Commandments! 😉

Nice sale for the Maestro's birthday - I picked up Superman IV ($15) and Thomas Newman's Less Than Zero ($5) from the clearance section - but damn, the international shipping hurts: $36 for 2 albums. Screen Archives Entertainment is still substantially cheaper on that front.
