  1. The UFO and the assumption that aliens had anything to do with the technology in early Central and Southern American civilizations was a true spit in the face to actual archaeology. Aliens could've been used much better.
  2. Does this person have any history of being correct?

I'm not saying what you posted was bad, I'm admittedly not a fan of the avengers theme or scores but that piece you posted could be inserted into so many action movies without people ever knowing it's the avengers theme. Supermans Theme is just in another universe. Pun intended.

    You're joking right?

Superman. Just far too iconic. The main titles alone are enough to put someone in the composers hall of fame. Greatest superhero theme ever written. Nothing will ever top it.
  6. when it comes to soundtracks and expansions I will always prefer physical cds. everything else is a mixed bag, but skews heavily towards digital.
  7. lol it's like simultaneously the cutest & annoying thing i've ever heard.
  8. I miss flip phones in movies & shows. The Departed and The Sopranos made the use of flips phones an art. Pay phones as well.
  9. I don't think the Ark theme being secondary is arbitrary at all. I think it's the definitive secondary theme of Raiders. Unless you're talking about the motifs I mentioned (which I in no way was assuming were themes or secondary themes)
  10. Definitely the Ark theme, without a doubt. Indiana Jones does have that secondary motif that only shows up in Raiders though. It's sort of his "in a temple motif" heard in "The Idol Temple" and "Indy Rides the Statue."

  12. lol yeah some disney intern: "how about.....the emperor is alive, but like...on life support alive!" IT'S IN THE MOVIE.
  13. @Manakin Skywalker Ah, makes sense. The Mouse®™ strikes again. A shame. And no denying a trilogy can be decent without a core story arc (i do find these movies enjoyable to an extent) I still can't believe the Emperor made it back. Reminds me of the Key & Peele Gremlins 2 sketch.
  14. I figured. It shows. I'm of the mindset you get a better story/product with a smaller, core vision, especially from the start. Why couldn't they have done that is my honest question/gripe. I just don't understand that.
  15. Was the story in the Disney Trilogy conceived before all 3 movies, or did they make it up as they go? Is there any confirmation on this?
  16. Exactly. Nobody bought that game with the fear of any glitches. Even the GTA games, including V (released in 2013!!) had relatively few bugs, and definitely nothing game breaking/crashing.
  17. Nintendo first party games are also never, ever, ever filled with bugs. Something that I don't think people truly appreciate. Nobody ever buys a major Nintendo title with the thought "i hope there isn't anything that's going to need to be patched."
  18. The soft, slow orca theme in the end credits is so beautiful.
