I found Jojo Rabbit to be really quite lackluster

When Zack Snyder says that this is his original vision, I call him a liar on that.

He has 20/20 hindsight on what people complained about the released cut. Of course he’s going to change as much of that as possible - be it his “original” vision or not.

Business-wise it makes sense, but his original vision it is not.

    Jackie Brown.

I had some misgivings during the very first scene, but obviously it was mostly amazing. Everyone is just great and the story is fascinating too, though I do think I want a re-watch. This was also the first time I needed time to like Samuel Jackson’s character and I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for anything with Pam Grier and Robert Forster in it.
And the music was obviously great too. Tarantino is awesome.

I couldn't find the Tadlow version of this track on Youtube, but this moment has always struck as particularly effective in evoking the ruthlessness of the desert:

This score is much much more than the main theme

Lion in Winter, not The Wind and the Lion  (another terrific score, though)

Masada (the original album, if you can find it). Although it is an album re-recording, it is much much better than the expanded score

In the action adventure genre, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and The Shadow are absolutely essential, but in their expanded editions

The older sounding quality of the original recording really suits the mood of the score much better

I also particularly love "How Beautiful you Make Me" and "To Rome". You can almost feel the cold draft blowing through the stone corridors of the castle. What a score, Barry took an absolute tone perfect aproach

Yes, yes, @Bespin; to Romāo, you listen!
Fans of Bond, and especially YOLT, probably had a giant "What the f**k?!" moment, when they heard this.
MAIN TITLE, ELEANOR'S ARRIVAL, and WE'RE JUNGLE CREATURES contain passages of unrivalled Barry power and beauty. It's a stonker of a score, and it fully deserved its Oscar.
