I've been thinking about one thing the "I am your father" twist had going for it: everybody thought the issue was settled. We knew who Luke's father was and that he was killed. There was no room for speculation. That made the twist all the more surprising, because know one knew a twist was coming.
 
With Rey, since the issue was left hanging, speculation is rampant, and it's likely someone, somewhere, will guess it correctly. It's much more fun witnessing a twist when you don't know a twist is coming

I still think R2 woke up due to Rey's presence

Blood Moon is one of the all time great JW tracks

As good as those are, my favorite is probably when Luke calls for Leia after his duel with Vader in ESB.

The plot rehash I can see, but not characters rehash. Plot is quite different from story

I really don't like ranking things against each other, but I do think the theme is absolutely terrific

It's the best of all the Star Wars sweeping themes

I thought Adam Driver was absolutely terrific. Kylo Ren was one of the most pleasant surprises for me

I feel kinda stupid for not latching on to Rey's main melody straight away. It's absolutely gorgeous

I'm really in love with Rey's theme. How many sub-sections are in that one? 4? It's probably the most intricate "soaring" JW theme ever

I may be in the minority, but I really prefer experiencing a JW score on cd first, and with the movie later

The end credits include Rey's Theme, the Resistance theme and Kylo Ren's theme. Also, Leia's theme and the Force theme are heard in the score. The end credits is nearly 8 minutes long

Well, in that case, it would've been better in Williams was not involved at all with this thing in the first place. Times are hard

Are some of you actually complaining that JW composed 3 hours of music for this thing? Would you be happier if he had only composed 120 minutes?
