I enjoy the music to the 5th film. It isn't my favorite or least favorite of the 5. I loved Doyle's music and would have been happy if he came back, but Hooper has nice music too.

Do you agree? Was the music as bad as many reviews claim?

Is it just me, or does the iTunes version seem to have an extra track?

No, that would be OPINION. What constitutes the "lowest common denominator" is a matter of opinion. "Bad" and "good" are subjective. - music, like art, is subjective. It's not good or bad - you either like it or you don't. It's quite simple, really. I'm going to have to agree with bondo on this.

The german website ONLINE FOCUS revealed that Hans ZIMMER didn't want to be nominated for the Oscars anymore. People would be surprised if they knew how much great music libraries allow you to check out.

I think his score for Balto is one of the best scores for an animated film. I am really surprised nobody even mentioned it so far.

There's a lot of comedy in the movie, and wikipedia says there are 2 sequels planned.

I really like a lot of John Debney's scores, many of which are PG or G. That might be something you want to look into.
