  1. all is here : you can't "play" with the darkside, you can't switch between the two sides as you want. (except of course for a final redemption) This is one of the biggest PT mistake because it contradicts everything that is said about the dark side in the original trilogy. Falling to the dark side is not a matter of weeks, months or years...A jedi can fall very quickly, in a very short time, and then he can't come back...that's what makes it so dangerous. In the prequels, Anakin do what he want, anger, hatred, murder, and then go back to his asshole "good" behavior, it makes no sense. Everything about the dark side is wonderfully done in the original trilogy : everyone understand that a Jedi, because of his power, can't do what he want, he can't have a normal human behavior, he must perfectly control himself because one misstep can be fatal. The final confrontation in the Return of the Jedi showed this perfectly : Luke use his anger to defeat Vader...but, in the border line, he realised his mistake and control himself...but he was on the brink to fall for only a few moments past in the dark side.
  2. Here is my point of view : there is no more humanity, no more love once your heart falls into the dark side, they cannot coexist. A guy in another forum after watching my work understood my thoughts and say it with the right words : gobalicious said: This scene really shows the power of the dark side over an individual. Vader has just renounced the very thing that pushed him to the dark side in the first place. Any trace of humanity is dead. It's all about power now. In fact Vader seems so evil that Palpatine comes off as the good guy in this scene, informing a man of his dead wife without waiting to be asked. I like the open mouth expression Palpatine has. It's like even he doesn't believe how far Vader has fallen. The evil laugh at the end now makes more sense. He is pleased with his unexpected success. I am finishing right now the sequence of the last meeting between Anakin and Padme (only music here) : By watching my work on this sequence, you will understand that Anakin's heart is already almost dead. Then, my ending sequence (with Vader) makes sense. Strings : http://audiobro.com/ Trumpets / Trombones : http://www.samplemodeling.com/en/index.php and for other instruments : http://vsl.co.at/ No problem Lucas failed on every points...even if I enjoy working on this edit, I perfectly know that only way to make things right is to start from the begining : good script, good dialogues, good actors, no CGI crap etc well, I just need 150 milion dollars Yes I went to far this time, excited by the idea to create a new arrangement of Vader's theme...but it's just a first draft
  3. Hi there ! I am a composer and of course big fan of Williams who is for me one of the best composer of all time. During my spare time, I am working on a new cut of Revenge of the Sith and I decided to create a new soundtrack for some parts of the movie that need, IMO, a new breath. Everything here is still work in progress , it's a kind of first draft that needs reflexion and maturation. enjoy !
