    most of the music for the first scene with Carrigan and Dibs was cut, the music starts when the fire reveals the hidden ink. I added the music as (probably?!) intended by James Horner. Notice the glissando strings doing some Mickey Mousing at 1:07 !!!

    just because individuals might pay astronomic (not to say absurd) amounts of money doesn't necessarily prove that there's a market for this.

    This cue from Once Upon a Time in the West and the beginning of The Pheasant Hunt in Empire Of The Sun sound a lot alike (to me). Oddly enough I can't find the cue on the Morricone soundtrack. Does anyone know where to find the cue used in Once Upon a Time in West and, any guesses, why The Pheasant Hunt sounds so similiar?

    can't believe I'm about to listen to it. I remember vividly Sony Classical had already published press releases about the album. And it has Sissel. So in my mind it's like Titanic 2. ;-)
