Not everything Williams has done in the concert arena is equally good (in fact, there are pieces -- both short and long -- that I find grating and irritating), but a great deal is. Including those that have never had a proper release. Depends.
 
My favourite among the longer concert works is the gorgeous bassoon concerto ("Five Sacred Trees"), while my favourite of the shorter pieces is probably the supercatchy "Celebrate Discovery" followed by the "Olympic Spirit" (which is actually a TV theme, strictly speaking, and not a work for the concert scene).
 
My least favourite of the longer concert works is a toss-up between "Conversations", the brand new "Scherzo for Piano" thing for Lang Lang and the "Duo Concertante for Violin and Viola" -- all ice cold, intellectual works with little in terms of engrossing warmth. My least favourite of the shorter pieces is either the crummy-sounding "Fanfare for Michael Dukakis" or the über-patriotic, cheesy "America - The Dream Goes On".

A pretty interesting blog I stumbled upon this afternoon. Gives some insight into Williams humble abode and claims that a new recording of the flute concerto was done with Slatkin.

Its probably my favorite part of the new score - but is it the best? Not by a country mile.

This was very nice indeed, you should try and get it published. Maybe check out some publishers like Hal-Leonard or maybe even Sheet Music Plus, but Sheet Music Plus only publishes for online download only I think...

Would anyone be interesting in hearing a piano/ harp recording of williams harp concerto? I'm thinking about recording the reduced version for piano and harp. Is it a very popular piece?

I for one would be very interested in hearing it!
E.g. the piano and oboe reduction of the Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra also done by Keisuke Wakao was an interesting comparison piece to the complete orchestral version.

I also quite like Copland's Orchestral Variations
which is just an orchestration of his early variations for piano. Shows much more of his early Stravinsky/French period than the Americana but great stuff and very dramatic.

Yes, there is a lot of Stravinky influence on it.

A very lesser known work of his, but an interesting one. But this piece in particular sounds like and americanized version of the rite of spring, well the revised organ-less version.
