Indeed!! There were also many other musicians of Orchestra hanging there in the street bar outside of the Philharmonie and they all praised John as a musician and also as a human beeing, they had a wonderful week together!!

I was hanging with the horn section after the Saturday concert. First horn Chris said that Johnny came to him and said that nothing wrong with his playing but John was too tired to conduct Leia's theme as an encore!!

Jesus..get some help!! I liked Vienna more, but this was still amazing!! Love JW.

Wow. I stayed in Kreuzberg area a week(since the Finnish musician union's residence is there) wonderful area and we felt very safe there.

I liked more the Vienna program(minus ASM) but its cool to hear different pieces if they will make a recording.

I'm happy Mutter isn't there. Loved her with the 2. concerto but the encore was awful in TW. I agree with eitam about Yoda's theme, wonderful in the film but in concert of this caliber, meh. Great arrangement with ASM doesn't help. I loved Vienna concert but it was too much ASM.

Rich colorful orchestral scores, please. BFG, SW, HP even. No americana or any jazzy scores. The Book Thief suite world premiere would be nice. Perhaps not many marches. Definitely not any obscure old stuff, this is one of the best orchestras in the world. Oh yes, one horn solo, please, for Stefan Dohr.
