Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Trailer
mcdaid72000 replied to mcdaid72000's topic in General Discussion
No Nazi's in Temple of Doom. <_< I voted A for the trailer. I thought the Nazi's were in Temple of Doom. If not what was he battling against? And tell me where to look in the movie. I have all three on VHS. Thanks. -
Which is your Favorite Chase Scene from Indiana Jones
mcdaid72000 replied to mcdaid72000's topic in General Discussion
I think mcdaid is talking about the scenes, not the music. Yes, you are correct Indy4 "Favorite Scene". Srry if I did not make that clear, but I like talking about the music too. -
Which is your Favorite Chase Scene from Indiana Jones
mcdaid72000 replied to mcdaid72000's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, Yeah, but I just choose the three main chase scene's. It would be even harder for me to decide my favorite action scene. It would be a tie between a lot of the listed items and would probably be a long reply. -
I am not sure it this has been done before, but I wanted to see before the 4th installment of the film came out which Indiana Jones Chase Scene is your favorite? I have to vote for the Schertzo for Motorcycle and Orchestra because it is the coolest scene to me and Indy's father with him and trying to escape the Nazi's and everything. It is my favorite track out of the three Indiana Jones soundtracks too. It was done musically well too. Vote and tell me why you like that. I know it these will be your opinions, so I like to hear them. Thanks.

I was wondering if anybody watched GMA yesterday because they showed a sneak preview of the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull trailer. How do you rate it and why do you rate it that way? Ill rate it an A+ because it looked awesome to me. Seeing Harrison Ford back in action, but its been 19 years maybe that is why they choose the Cold War period. It is set in 1957 they said on GMA and he is fighting the Russians this time instead of the Nazi's. The first three films seem to have the Nazi's in it. Give your opinions thanks.

Found this on Myspace the other day.(I think its a fake)
mcdaid72000 replied to mcdaid72000's topic in General Discussion
Then why did you even begin to contemplate that it could be him? I really hope you didn't and just thought this was an amusing page I just wanted to look at it. See how many errors I could find. Not sure where the fake got the photos from, but it is probably easy to find all three photos on the internet. There are three photos if I remember correctly. One of him. the middle one I cant remember, but the third photo is the one of the Raiders of the Lost Ark recording session. Under it they spell Ark wrong. They spelled it Arc instead of Ark. -

Another thing I saw was that if you go to the Pictures the person claiming to be John Williams spelled Arc(Ark) wrong. See if you notice anything else wrong because I can name a lot. -
I didnt know they had a Trnsformers petition. Was it about making it into a movie?
-
OK. In that case. I vote Jaws.
-
I do not see my favorite out of THOSE score, but my favorite JW score is The Empire Stikes Back.

Who's the most famous person you have met?
mcdaid72000 replied to Josh500's topic in General Discussion
I dont think I have met anybody really, so no one. -
What about Mannhiem Steamroller and Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Anybody listen to these Christmas CDs?
-
I thought people on this board thought signing petitions were pointless. I thought ya'll said it would not do any good. Today I see that on the main page links to three different petition sites for Indiana Jones. Are they still pointless or have people changed there minds.

Hey couldn't someone goto the mlb website get the video website location and goto zamzar.com and convert it to an avi and post it on the JWFan Main Page. Then it would be on this site for every John Williams fan to see. Just a thought. I use zamzar a lot for youtube videos.

I am a huge fan of OotP, it is my second favorite Potter score. I bought the OST, then I heard about the Special Edition. I knew that it had no extra music, but on the official website, it was supposed to have a 20 page booklet about the making of the score, along with some fancy packaging. I bought it for the booklet. It arrived, and the packaging was nice, but the booklet had the EXCACT same words as the one from the OST, they were just spaced bigger, therefore taking up more room. It is a good soundtrack to buy if you don't have the OST, but otherwise, I really wouldn't bother, unless you're interested in fancy packaging. If you're still interested, here it is at the Warner Bros. Store: http://warnerbrosrecordsstore.com/store/or...BR&msgCode= Here it is at Amazon (ignore the picture, it is of the OST): http://www.amazon.com/Soundtrack-Harry-Pot...1253&sr=8-3 I got mine on eBay for about $20, so you may want to check there, too. Thank you Indy4 for the information. At this link Order of the Phoenix Info provided by Wikipedia.org searched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix(Soundtrack) it has one extra track call "Boys Will Be Boys" by "The Ordinary Boys". That's if you want to rely on Wikipedia's information which it seems like everybody on this board does not like Wikipedia which is fine. I still do not know what to think of the site myself. Use to people could post whatever they wanted without having an account with them which would make me speculate the information, but now you have to have an account with them before you can start editing on the site. Yeah you could probably put whatever you want on it, but doesn't the webserver guy check if it is correct information or not? I have not created an account with them. I did do one free edit and it was accurate. I published the release date of Myst IV: Revelation for PC/Xbox. I got the information from Amazon.com(I Think). But I did post accurate information. I might not post any more on this board just watch the discussions. Where's Miguel? I want to know what he thinks about Wikipedia.

Hey everybody. I know it has been a while since I posted a topic, but I haven't had anything to talk about until now. Dose anybody know where I can order the Special Edition Soundtrack to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix online? And does anybody know about Wikipedia.org and if it is a reliable source of information. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

John Williams "looking older...not feeling good"
mcdaid72000 replied to Hlao-roo's topic in General Discussion
Agreed. I have never seen claims of his illness either, but people do age. -
I will post the soundtrack images I like in no particular order. Here they are:(Click Links) Insurrection Search for Spock Undiscovered Country Raiders Close Encounters Temple of Doom Last Crusade Prisoner of Azkaban There are probably more, but it would go on forever I think.

The title seems bland to me. I would have liked Indiana Jones and the Lost City of Atlantis. That was one of the suggested titles a long time ago on indyfan.com The title sounded cool and was voted the most possible title for the next film, but the title: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sounds bland for now since I have not seen the movie. I hope the soundtrack sounds cool and I hope the movie becomes a smash hit. How many people here like the sound of the title?

It's just the same stuff that's been released repackaged. They changed the covers... oooOooo They added stickers... You want some star wars stickers, I'll mail you a rose art set I have... and it has a poster photoshpped just for the set. Why buy theirs when you can get the same stuff from me for free lol... Have you read this thread at all? 6 of the 8 discs are the SE's simply repackaged. 1 of the discs is the Correllian disc that was the target exclusive with Episode III and is nothing but a compilation discs, with tracks from the OT heavily echoed to make them sound better, but really it just made them sound worse. The last disc is just a CD-Rom or something they said... it's not new music. As far as fan wishes go, they messed up this set.. I would recommend against bothering to get it And it comes in a tin box... exciting lol I can. How? I would like the complete soundtracks to Episode I-VI and if your serious about it being free e-mail me @ mcdaid72000@yahoo.com. Everybody complains about the 1997 rerelease version. I like to hear how you did it different. Thanks Dude... I'm gonna be really honest... Did you read a word I wrote? And how often do you come here? Not much since apparently you dont' know not to request things in a thread (let alone things I...didn't offer...) Yeah, I can read. I just take things too seriously sometimes LOL. I know there are people willing to trade stuff on the trading boards not sure if I have anything to trade really. I use to have the 1997 version, but it was wearing out and decided to get the 2004 version, but maybe I should have waited a little bit longer because now there is a 2007 version. I said if memory serves me right I would buy it, but I do not have the money to buy it, so I will pass on it(for now). Can anybody list the tracks to the Corillian disc? I would like to see if anything new is on that? I might pass if nothing new on that disc and other discs. I'll pass on the stickers and posters too. So, NO, I would not buy it. If this confuses you then stop quoting me.

I remember saying in March that they would release another box set for the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars music. Now that does not mean I am right in that they are releasing the complete score, but it would be cool since at amazon.com it says it contains 8 disc and is worth 80 plus dollars(Let's hope sony does not screw this box set up like the 1997 version). Any apologies out there form the JWFan Members out there. I am not sure if I am going to get this box set since it is so expensive. Thank you.

How did you find this image? Which site did it originate from? Tell me. It looks better than my idea.
