  1. Soundtrack Cover Art Ideas! Tell me in you opinion if this would make a great soundtrack cover art or paste an image you think will be in your opinion the cover art for the soundtrack.
  2. I haven't seen the movie. I have not boughten the soundtrack to the movie. In fact I am not much of a TMNT fan. I was when I was a little kid, but no longer a fan.
  3. Wow, I did not know that. Do you remember which one won the poll?
  4. Update information: The release of the Star Wars stamps are now May 25. Srry that I said March 28th, but that is was the USPS site originally said.
  5. What me to do another poll and have all his soundtracks he has done in his life time and tell ya'll to scratch this poll and vote and the new poll? I will if you want, but he has done a lot of works. Just check out this site: http://www.johnwilliams.org/compositions/filmschrono.html. Bye.
  6. WOW, you're right. I don't know why I figured out someone with that avatar could only be a girl. Without any intention of offending, mcdaid. No you have not offended me. I just updated my profile. OT: I do not know any girls that like John Williams really. I voted for Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. I like all the soundtracks, but Episode III I like the most.
  7. Hey everybody, I am not sure if this type of poll has been done before, but I wanted to know out of the ten soundtracks I picked for John Williams which is your favorite?
  8. Don't know if it is still in print. I got this soundtrack as a birthday gift from my brother a couple years ago and he ordered it from the UK. So, try the UK amazon site see if it is available here.
  9. He'd have to be dead for 5 years for that to happen. Neil Wow, 5 years. I can wait that long.
  10. How many in favor of the USPS of making a commemorative postage stamp for John Williams?
  11. Hey everybody, I know that probably everybody who is a member of the JWFan site knows that the New Star Wars Postage Stamp has come out today, but my question is: How many are going to purchase this for Collecting? How many are to to purchase to use to send regular mail?
  12. This is one of the most famous sequences in the movie. My favorite piece of music of John Williams from Star Wars is still by far "The Emperor's Throne Room." How many JWFan network people like this song? It is very dark and mysterious.
  13. I personally can't decide which version I like. They are both great pieces of music. I think that the Alternate Version is more liked because of the eerieness like Genus Gone Insane has said. It is kind of strange, but Williams does a great job making it work. I would like to know what Miguel thinks about the two versions of the Binary Sunset.
  14. John Williams is by far my favorite composer. Here is how I have my favorite top 10 composers ranked: 1. John Williams 2. Jerry Goldsmith 3. Jack Wall 4. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky 5. Igor Stravinsky 6. James Horner 7. Leonard Rosenmen 8. Alan Silvestri 9. Robyn Miller 10. Ludwig van Beethoven I am a big John Williams fan. I want to know who Miguel favorite composers are and if he has a top 10 like me?
  15. Oops. I been on spring break a week and look at what I forget. Thanks Miguel.
  16. It is a tie for me. My two favorite Star Wars: Main Title renditions are from "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Revenge of the Sith" I them both equally. The Empire Strikes back because it starts on the Planet Hoth and you get to hear something longer than the "A New Hope" Main Title. Revenge of the Sith I like because it has that dark hymn which starts out with the bass drum or some other type of instrument. It is a great way to start a Star Wars film. I hope they come out with the special editions for Episodes I-III soon.
  17. Hey everbody. I recently watched the movie Munich and bought the soundtrack and had some questions. 1. What orchestra did John Williams use for the soundtrack? 2. Why did he not use the LSO? 3. Does anybody know the whole track listings for the movie in movie order? Thanks.
  18. Check this site out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPvhO7Ypw7k. See if this helps anybody. Tell me if it is reliable or not reliable too. I'll watch it tomorrow.
  19. Williams Shatner? I often do that when intending to type William. I'm so used to typing Williams. I edited my mistake.
  20. Personally I think they should not make a Star Trek XI because they are going backwards most people are probably expect to see William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy as Kirk and Spock since they are so old they can't use them. If they go on to make XI I do not think I will watch it.
  21. Hey, everybody, just wanted to see what people thought about the new composer/conductor of Harry Potter. Nicholas Hooper I do not know that well. John Williams is well know even Patrick Doyle I have heard of, but knew little about. Can anybody tell me about this musician and how you think he will approach the music of Harry Potter besides that the Theme will be in it because that theme needs to be in the movie. I think it is hard to write music myself, but I hope the soundtrack is good. Does anybody have any information on when the soundtrack might come out? Thanks.
  22. You mean you can't hear the "great crescendo" of Buckbeak's theme in Saving Buckbeak?? Ray Barnsbury Yes,and i clearly hear Dark side Beckons in Anakin's Dream You can also hear "Zam the Assassin and the Chase through Coruscant" in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets during the Quidditch Match. Did anybody else notice this?
  23. It is Williams himself on occasion it say according to this website: http://www.filmtracks.com/titles/et.html. Check it out and read article. I hope this heps everyone. I was not sure myself, but yeah it is him.
