I think he's starting early because both Harry Potter 2 and Catch me if you Can are so close together. That way he'll have time for both without having to rush. I just hope that doesn't mean that because it is a rough cut, his music might be cut up because of further editing....?!?!?!??!??!???!!!!

I don't like Zimmer a lot, although there are some things he has done that is not bad, but Spirit? I went and saw that and the score was worse than horrible. It was... I have no words! I was dumbfounded. But that's the thing about music.... We all have our different opinions and that's a good thing! I might hate it, but others liked it.

I actually like that score a lot! It's gentle in a Satie sort of way and has a great theme that sounds part impressionistic french and part John Williams. I mean, it IS John Williams but you know what I mean, it's quieter than most things he composes. To me I would say YES! A good score. I have no idea why some people would call it his worst. I can think of so many other scores that could take that honor.

I collect full orchestral written scores so this site sounds great, and yes, it would be amazing if it was in English too!!!!! That way I could understand more. My German isn't that good

OK, with Shostakovich, Ligetti, Korngold, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov, Herrmann, Walton, Prokofiev, Ravel, Gershwin.... He might not be the best composer of the century, but he is one of them.
I would have liked an option that said, no he is not the BEST composer but he is my FAVORITE composer.
Since there wasn't I voted for the second choice, which isn't entirely true but it comes closest to what I think.

Maggie Smith is an incredible actress, but if you have seen her do comedy, when you read the books you would have thought of her as another character, The Woman in book 3 with the crystal ball. Each time I read her part I thought of Maggie Smith!!!

I had to do all the quizes !#@@&^@%@@&!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, and all the deleted scenes had music, appart from one, they sounded like they were done for those scenes, however they could be tracked in.

I doubt that they would talk to Horner and ignore Williams. Unless Williams just sat there and let him speak to see if his accent would falter after time

All best for a speedy recovery. He is great. I went to a few scoring sessions with him and Sandy's Orchestra. Loved it. I hope he is back on his feet soon!!!

Schindler's List is an incredible score!!!! Get it immediatley, as for SPR... I can't comment on it as I have only heard the main hymn from it which is beautiful. However someone else needs to talk about the whole score.

OK I did it finally!
Go to Gringots, get key and then money. Then buy wand and owl. Then go back to dvd menu and go to classroom, go to potions and figure out the three different combinations then you have to find a key and pick a potion and you are in.... I should have written things down. When you are choosing the potion, it's the one that looks like the round bottle in the potions calss before.

I have no idea why so many people don;t like her... She's done a lot for a lot of people and has a huge heart. Maybe it was her coming out... Though I have no idea why that would bother anyone, at least she is being honest. However I put the Avatar up as a joke. I wanted to put a lightsaber in front of her but I have no clue how to do that!!!!!! Darth Rosius

Amen to that. Williams owes a great deal to Korngold and always mentions it. Even one of the pieces from TPM was ddedicated to him (panaka and the Queens Protectors) if I'm not mistaken.

You are more than welcome to your opinion and it's not a matter of changing your view or anyone elses. As a matter of fact, all I'm doing is giving my opinion, it shouldn't upset you. But I do have a Valid point, which was this.... Since everyone I know on this board hated the way Williams's music was handled, how can they give it a 10 which is a perfect score? That's what I don't understand. Are you telling me that's not a valid question? As for all the stuff I ranted about, those are only my views on the thing. Not anyone elses, just mine. I happen to like C3PO in it, a lot of people didn't. So it is just a difference of opinion. I hated the dialogue to the point of embarassment. I thought the acting was horrible, there was no direction given to the actors who had to act to a blue screen... sorry, those are my gripes, but again, my point about the perfect score is valid, if you complained about the music and other things, you can't give it a 10. 10 means that it was perfect.

He might have seen it as something he regreted not finishing, so it was something he had to do, not for anything else but for his own piece of mind.... Mind you, it's not like they are going to fail him now, are they?!
