That's basically my approach to score composers and directors. What were average scores and regular directors of 30+ years ago suddenly seem quite bloody decent and they make their modern equivalents look like absolute shit in comparison. Even a "bad" Spielberg movie blows away anything from JJ Abrams, who young idiots proclaim to be the nearest thing to the 70s wunderkind.

The VR sequel certainly feels like a premium VR experience, although you control Alyx in it rather than Freeman.
