antovolk got a reaction from Ricard in No Time To Die (James Bond #25)
Uh, yes. It's MGM. They have nothing else that's this big - everything else coming is indie and prestige/awards releases, this film was meant to cover a lot for them - they already ended up delaying their big awards contender Respect (Aretha Franklin biopic) because they didn't have the money from Bond to do a campaign. And they've already blown their load twice marketing spend wise. And they're up for sale now too.
Also UK cinemas don't look to be able to reopen until May at this point, that's the latest indication re: hospitality in this current lockdown, which will only begin to ease up when enough of the most vulnerable are vaccinated, with now the latest timeline is every UK adult being offered it by the end of the summer. At the current rate timelines appear to be very similar Stateside too, and in continental Europe. All the big stuff that can't have PVOD or streaming as a cushion like the Warner Bros/HBO Max stuff, is gonna be pushed.

As much as I'd love someone like Hurwitz on this (they've already got like all of Chazelle's people on this film save for Damien himself), this.
They've all but officially confirmed that this film is going to be a proper conclusion to the story that began in Casino/QoS so continuity and story wise, bringing back Arnold is the best option

Actually, the film credits have that info as well, including a prominent Deutsche Grammophon logo.

antovolk got a reaction from The Illustrious Jerry in Justin Hurwitz's FIRST MAN (2018)
A lot of it functional but a good number of memorable cues for sure, once we get to the moon mission itself especially. Hurwitz definitely isn't phoning it in with the electronics like some have been fearing, it's just that Chazelle evidently didn't want the music to be the driving force of the entire film like his previous ones, just in a few select sequences.

Just out of screening. Let's talk score - it's gonna piss quite a few of you (or at least the FSMers) off because fully orchestral this is not. In fact this film is a lot less music driven than all of his previous ones. The feel overall is very Gravity in that mix between electronics and orchestra, and there's a little bit of that theremin in there too! (You think it's a choir boy but....very nicely done). There are a few fully orchestral cues though which are highlights and there are moments in the film that the score takes center stage
Potential musical spoiler:
The film is quite brilliant too. Perfect balance between focusing on Armstrong the man and the space programs

Someone on another forum said that apparently Hurwitz's name on the end credits got the second loudest applause at the press screening this morning.
