  1. Alien is better for that.
  2. I was just going to say, that's the most English list of pet peeves ever haha.
  3. Don't bother. Listen to the score.
  4. Sigh.
  5. Sigh.
  6. So we're fry-condiment opposites.
  7. What you should try is a combination of both. That I can handle.
  8. It's a bit too rich for me. Fries are heavy as it is. Ketchup offers some contrast to that with its acidity. Mayonnaise just seems overbearing.
  9. If you pressed someone with general familiarity to choose a main theme for the trilogy, I don't doubt they would choose the fellowship theme. No, it doesn't appear with the frequency of some others, no, it doesn't open each film like the history theme, but by and large it's what people probably most readily associate with the films musically.
  10. I'd prefer that. Let some other corner of the sexual world get the spotlight of misrepresentation shined on them.
  11. I concur with Jules' reaction.
  12. "I liked the movie! It made sense! I didn't! It was ludicrous! You hate everything! No, I never said that, I just intensely implied it! Well, to each their own. Agree to disagree. Everyone is entitled to their opinion." Now kiss.
  13. Shit this film disgusts me. Funny, looking at Danny, you'd think he started in porn scoring.
  14. "Hey ma, come back, Manya died! MANYA DIED!"
  15. 2:45 hmmmmmmmpppphhh 3:40 nnnnnnnnnggggahhh Great tunes, both. ALSO... how 'bout dat ridiculous last minute of Arnold's Independence Day? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8lHeAllz2E
  16. Can you give timestamps for these bars?
  17. "Oh misty eye of the mind palace below..."
  18. Cliches in general are annoying. Pretty hard to totally avoid though.
  19. I'll tell you why. Her feels much more unified, even if it's maybe a bit one note. The Social Network, for me, just sounds like Reznor was wanking around with a few different keyboards' presets. No real coherence.
  20. You know who's good these days? The Decemberists.
  21. Yeah, nicely orchestrated climax.
  22. Outlands is not bad, thanks to the more-complex-than-you'd-expect harmonies. Well let's not be so quick to judge here. Last time I checked, most of JWFan really enjoyed Tron Legacy. The stuff Daft Punk clearly had a hand in - not Joseph Trapanese's mind-numbing string ostinati.
