    You haven't read it, right? Do you plan to? It's baffling if you don't intend to considering your enthusiasm for the films. Certainly. They are however not exactly experts at judging film music if my visits there are any indication. Yeah... like most places on the internet that aren't JWFan, the discussion of music is painfully elementary. YayI sense you have some issue with what I said, but between an endorsement for a book and sarcastic derision, I can't imagine what it is.

    The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King by Howard Shore That fleeting statement of Gondor Reborn during the crossroads scene... that is perfection.

    I don't care if it is Shore. Uninspired instrumentation, boring chords, and a sheer lack of invention in the melodic writing. This would never have made it into LOTR. Obviously standards have become abysmal.

    Just saw it. Solid film, I think. Cloyingly generic theme. If nothing else, it's made me VERY excited for Guardians.
