I had ,a long time ago (!) on LP, I didn't know if there is a CD release of that "thing", the face B is 2001 Stereo space odyssey with Douglas Gamley ( TRON) conducting R.Strauss and some W.Holcomb planets, 3 or 4 tracks ...

some thing I didn't understand is that score have been digitally recorded, as mentionned on the LP, with a superb sound , and the longer CD as been made from analog source...

on the "First knight" 2CD soundtrack at the end of a percussive track we can ear some funny dialogue between Goldsmith and percussionists : -Perfect !!! - perfect , my a... !!!

yes there is a CD with the boston pops titled " America, the dream goes on" , the story said that this piece of music was misregarded by some musicians from the pops and was one of the reason John Williams wanted to stop his collaboration with the orchestra...

The CDs on this pictures aren't original "for your consideration", last September I have been accomodate in L.A. by someone who is in the Academy, he have a lots of "FYC" CDs and some belongs to WarnerBros. in the case of A.I. it should be on each CD the WB logo and "for your consideration"as well as composer John Williams...

It sounds too Close to "Walton's : The Quest, Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe, Respighi tones poems" so, nothing very exciting...

The Varese Re-recording of superman Was a big disappointment, chorus with wrong notes, slow tempi...Have You heard about Colin flechter recordind of StarWars with London philharmonic ?and the Naxos with Dick Hymann ? Hahahahaha ! the some I like are Midway, Vertigo, and Torn Curtain,by Elmer Berntein !

This recording is a William Motzing with Pragua Orchestra , it was one of the fews CDs that he has recorded, as well as Highlander suite, Jaws 4 suite, Meteor, StarTrek 1,2,3, 4, 6, Fantatic Voyage, Countdown, Battle of the Planet of the Apes....

Of course it will be great to have our Maestro working in Superman 2 , a matter to re-unite with the original whole vision of Donner film and an homage to Christopher Reeve...And I believe it will be the first time in film music history that a score will be done 25 years after the film, a kind of "John Williams' Return"...

Have You noticed the "MUSIC COMPOSED AND CONDUCTED BY JOHN WILLIAMS"??? If they reedit this way, the new assignement of John williams should be clear to us .... Ooops, I didn't noticed this was made by a fan...Sorry...

Currently working on a new score ... May be ... SUPERMAN 2 !!! It will be a justice regarding the fact that it will be " a new score ", and the best occasion to do an homage to the memory of Christopher Reeve !!!
