  1. I'm a young person and I don't like Zimmer, but I think its the Rock&Roll fans that seem to like Zimmer the best. Like usually when i'm with other kids and I have my ipod only three songs will be requested to be played: Imperial March, Raider's March, and He's a Pirate. The majority of kids choosing the PotC seem to prefer rock over hip hop.

  2. I've heard Beltrami only used Goldsmith's theme in the end credits, but I'm not a 100% on that.

P.S. Where there any other people who are superstitious and did not play the Omen theme yesterday? tell me I'm not the only one.

  3. I

I also almost got Ottman's Fantastic Four. I've heard some samples from it...though it was okay. I really only what to hear it just to get a better idea of what to expect for Superman. I don't know...should I have gotten it?

well, what I heard during the movie isn't anything like what I've heard so far from the SR clips, so don't kick yourself over missing the Fantastic Four score, which is mediocre at best.

  4. thats how most people are. I've seem to notice that people who are die-hard rock fans also seem to be attracted to the MV style. Also thats just his opinion, and I doubt he's heard any of the great pirate scores.

:music: Rosalie, one of the songs that started to turn me away from North by Northwest

  5. hmm, this is going to be abrupt...

I find music more expressive then words, for instance last year I had to right a descriptive paragraph describing my backyard, however, I found it much easier to find a classical song to describe it, but of course that couldn't count...

:spiny: The Wild Ride, which seems to be more exciting and less repetitive the second time around

  6. If it's that piece of crap that came out about 4-5 years ago I would guess Williams stayed clear of that mess.

exactly what I thought, unless you mean a totally different maestro altogether.

edit: just checked imdb and there is some animated movie called evolution which came out in 1971, which if this is the movie, it may also prove why Williams has never scored an animated movie... only problem though, is that its a short film...
