  1. there seem to have been alot of great pictures of the three of them from this concert, lol
  2. that did sound like a pretty accurate description of M-V, or remote control studios, I don't know which one is which. By the way, do know know approximately how long ago that interview was?
  3. looks good, but lol, while I was watching it, you know how the players pauses at certain points, when it reaches the end of the I don't know what its called, well anyway when Luthor yelled No!! it paused, and his mouth was like twice the size of his head, LOL
  4. oliver stone= jfk, bot4j and nixon=john williams. maybe 9/11 = john williams? *crossing fingers* at one point it was rumoured to be an effort made by both James Horner and John Williams, but unfortanetly that's Imdb, and it turns out the composer is Craig Armstrong
  5. well, it was a while back on the american Amazon, so its not as bad as 200 pounds nvm, their still pretty darn expensive http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00...5Fencoding=UTF8
  6. 50$, well thats even better, lol, if only they were all release in full next week
  7. thats what, $60? if so then thats a pretty good deal, i've seen them sell on amazon.com for over $200
  8. all it had was don williams playing the timpani... John didn't even view the recordings
  9. well if that isn't snobbism, then I don't know what is, LOL
  10. yeah, Psycho I consider having a main theme, that theme in the prolouge is used consistently. I haven't seen the movie so I can't say for sure.
  11. Lol, I get it now, it is a pretty funny picture, but I still don't get the red outline...
  12. unfortanetely, it seems like this film really should be getting more audience, but at least it isn't suffering Munich's fate.
  13. so nobody that is not part of this forum hasn't read the book!! LOL
  14. I don't get the deal with the red outline, is it some sort of spoof?
  15. well, those themes are pretty weak, and don't reallly constitute the more memorable parts of the score
  16. anything having to do with films, music or John Williams is allowed in general discussion, and I'm pretty sure box office predictions has to do with films.
  17. so there are people other then me on here who like this score; thats a relief.
  18. exactly, I go through the same thing. Like right now I'm almost listening to only the Lost soundtrack, sometimes I'm only listening to Silvestri, Horner, or Goldsmith. But there are always cues that seperate Williams from the rest.
  19. hmm, Indiana Jones, ET, Patton, are all pretty epic.
  20. I wonder how many Williams scores would have made that list, at least Schindler's List and Raider's of the Lost ark would have. I'm sure thats were most of the popular scores are though, like in the 25-50 range.
  21. ok, thought it had a theme, I haven't listened to it much, I got that along with six other scores at once, and it has been overshadowed by Lost.
  22. WotW is something that comes to mind easily, but hmm, what non-thematic scores do I have, I think signs even has a theme.
  23. yes... some of the most narrow-minded in the world too
  24. i'm expecting the Da Vinci code to be pretty big, probably bigger then X-men, maybe even bigger then superman, but the amount of people that will see POTC is just way too great. Every disney fan, every Johnny Depp, which will likely include Tim Burton fans, many Orlando Bloom fans, and people who pretty much just liked the first movie will see it.
