  1. why dont someone sign up at wiki and put that in.
  2. Lol, i just learned of that word too, and ironically it was yesterday when someone on another website who ironically was a Jw and Film music fan started using it, lol.
  3. yes, the same march heard towards the middle of The Brother of the Cruciform Sword when Salla is captured is also in the beginning of Sczhero for Motorcycle and Orchestra. Its played there a little bit after the Raider's march.
  4. your also talking about the march that plays in the Brother of the Cruciform sword and Sczhero for Motorcycle and Orchestra right?
  5. isn't united 93 coming a couple of weeks?
  6. yes, lol, in fact someone could put in an entry declaring that they want to assassinate Williams right this instant
  7. how do you make a two and some hour movie on this? two hours of airport and flying, and ten minutes of the actucal struggle? its like the titanic, which is pretty much two an a half hours of recap on the ship, and thirty minutes of the actual sinking, except here they can't put in a love story.
  8. I'm not a star trek fan, but after Lost I'll be excited for any Giachino score.
  9. with the oscars, after this year every loss should officially be conisdered an honor. that way John Williams is the most honoured man in the history of orignial score oscars.
  10. I agree with that, his score for spanglish was imo a nice enjoyable score, and I also think he has a lot of potential with the Davinci Code if he can control himself. But if Zimmer scored say Saving Private Ryan, the entire film probably would have been different, I doubt he would have been able to restrain himself during the war scenes.
  11. I guess either recording Far and Away, or composing Home Alone 2
  12. I wouldn't say I am, there a plenty of works that I find better the Williams', in fact I think the Back to the Future theme easily measures up to Star Wars and Indiana Jones. I also have no problem denouncing some of Williams' lesser works. however, I would consider myself an anti-zimmer snob who is only willing to give Zimmer a chance with DC
  13. WHO IN THE WORLD IS Nicholas hooper anyway? and tell me this is a joke
  14. i agree, I would really like a recording of this new "mission," hopefully they will release it, or we'll here the new one every night on NBC from now on
  15. 1. Desert Chase (raider's of the Lost Ark) 2. Sail Barge Assualt (Return of the Jedi) 3.Confluence (Memoirs of a Geisha) 4. Bug Tunnel and Death Trap (The Temple of Doom) 5. Gillian's Escape (The Fury)
  16. yeah we did that, put it all the way up, not much improvement though
  17. Raider's of the Lost Ark, but then i would also own the Varese 25 years album and a few other compilations
  18. i've already bought it and watched it, I couldn't see a thing for like the first twenty minutes because my tv is way too dark (a problem I get with lost too)
  19. wow, i didn't know one pound was so valuable, its worth almost two dollars
  20. so i guess its safe to assume then, that Williams and Reeve were good friends, and that scoring Superman would have been emotionally difficult for him.
  21. does anyone know if the US amazon is going to release it, or if I have to order it from the UK, and if the latter is the case, then what is the pound/dollar ration?
  22. that is definitely what it seems to hint at, I find that very believable though, they might have met in Julliard, because Reeve is also a Juliard alumni
  23. Action: Desert Chase Drama: Pretty Much anything in Shindler's List Comedy: The Tale of Victor Navorski
  24. how can they think Williams tarnishes their alumni record, thats absurd. He is one of the few composers, and by far the greatest, unless the consider Alan Greenspan to be their most honorable alumni, lol.
