the imperial march seems to be spoofed alot in that matter, i've heard plenty of people sing it as Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb-de Dumb Dumb-de Dumb and so on
-
your talking about the motif that is played quietly at the beginning of the Raptor Attack right?
-
I doubt thats the title, never in any of the indy adventures has an artifact of interest been really the subject of the title. It just gives away too much. Like Raiders of the Lost Ark, the subject of that is the Raiders, and the needed artifact is the Ark of Covenant, but back in 1981 how were people supposed to no that. Temple of Doom, it was easily assumed that Indy would go to some scary temple, but why?, nobody could tell. The Last Crusade is even more ambiguous for those not knowing about that specific journey or King Author. Indiana Jones and The Sword of Orion, hmm wonder what he's looking for...

no, if you look at his sentence:
I can't imagine the word elegant, and AOTC in the same sentence, and yet I've used it as wellAOTC and elegant are in the same sentence, but not in the way he would never imagine using it.
-
i never called it elegant, i just said that was another example of what pi was saying, now not the best example E.T. was definitely better, but an example nevertheless.
-
oh yes i've noticed he likes to do that too, like in ATOC confrontation with Dooku when he climbs into the Imperial march in the finale.
-
Wow, he must have gotten alot of money just for that one song, like Jerry Seinfeld making thoughsand's of dollars for every seinfeld re-run

Hmm, tough question. I would have to say the mission, and The Mission NBC nightly news theme. The weird thing about this thread is that i just had a dream that a favorite tv theme thread would appear on JWFAn.

i have a feeling this is going to be own looong poll...
At the current rate we could have ten off at once. LOL
LOL, your right it will be probably be a quick yet boring poll, LOL

15) Jar-Jar getting captured by a bounty hunter or Vader and tortured to death.
LOL
Apparently (according to Lucas), Jar Jar was an Alderaan when it was destroyed.

"I felt a great disturbance in the force, as if a stupid voice suddenly cried out HOW WUDE and was suddenly silenced. I fear something wonderful has happened."
I think I'm the only who likes Jar Jar.
I suspect the new generation of SW fans (those who watch the prequels in their preteens) will like Jar Jar, very much the way I dont really mind the Ewoks (I actually liked them when I was a kiddo)
I'm a member of that new generation of SW fans, and i might be the only kid my age, but i absolutely hate Jar Jar, and to me, (who as a huge dinosaur and jurassic park fan as a little kid) he is almost as bad as barney, and like barney i've probably found a million ways for him to die.
Edit: hmm, looks like i messed up with the quotes
Edit 2: at least i got that first quote fixed

It definitely is one of the most haunting sorrowful pieces of music ever, and I haven't even seen the film

Is Voldemort's that 15-note motif played throughout the Face of Lord Voldemort?
yeah, and its also played during the Quidditch match, and when Tom riddle scrambles his name into "I am lord Voldemort" in Cos
-
I really hope Spielberg gets his way and doesn't let the film become to digitalized, and hopefully Lucas didn't tarnish the script too much either.
-
i won't be able to vote for a Long time, my seventies collection is very weak.
-
Definitely Indy, I see both the score and movie as having much more potential then Superman.
-
I definitely agree with the Superman, i had noticed that too a while ago
-
Jaws
Family Plot
Midway
Star Wars
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
The Fury
Jaws 2
Superman - The Movie
1941
Those are all the scores i have either seen the movie too or have the soundtrack.
These are all the scores i have listened to a sample of or have the main titles suit too
Cowboys
Poseidon Adventure
Towering Inferno
and Earthquake
-
this really stinks, i don't have a single one of these soundtracks, there all just too expensive and in my opinion aren't even worth investing. I only have concert suites to Poseidon, Cowboys, Towering Inferno and Earthquake. The only one of which I like is the Cowboys.

yay, now are after all the decades are you going to do an ultimate tournament of the winners?
-
the original harry potter has quite a few bad special effects sequences, even when not involving CGI, like when harry sees voldemort in the forest and he the approaches harry, it looks just liked a tattered cloth on a hanger going up a string, and then the Centaur guy was also not very convincing.
-
wow, this has been one wild round, now it looks like raiders, but ET still has time...
-
I think Williams could definitely still pull a super scary score, even today. Some tracks even of WOTW are pretty haunting, not downright Terrifying but haunting nonetheless.
-
well then, i don't see how ATHF is really much of an improvement from what i intially though it was

yeah i'll agree, somehow this poll just isn't as fun as the last two (well i watched the first) i guess because there are just too many i haven't heard
