  1. wow, last i checked on round seven EOS and WOE were tied, now BOTFJ is gone. I'll vote for EOS
  2. I have to agree, i usually only listen to the louder tracks such as the cheiftains sections, land race, settling with steven, and end credits, but i usually skip over the quiter tracks, i.e burning the mansion.
  3. That i can think of right now, it would have to be Journey to the Island, but i know there are more
  4. Wow!!, that is shocking and hysterical LOL
  5. Well it depends on Lincoln. If its made, and spielberg takes a radical new approach to the man, then there might be a chance there

  9. It really is, but i don't think its against John Williams per se, but agains Spielberg and anyone associated with him.
  10. if he isn't a preservationist, then thats really a shame becuase there are so many of his albums that could use a re-release.
  11. if you can enjoy the Irish music, then this is definitely a must have album. IMO, its almost, if not as good, as Hook.
  12. I've been listening to songs from the Fury and Jaws 2 alot recently, but i usually just put my iPod on shuffle and don't listen to any particular album.
  13. Santaolalla: You . . . you are John Williams!!! The one and only! My biggest idol and inspiration! May the force be with you! Johnny: Who the hell are you? It truly does look like thats John Williams thoughts, look at his expression. LOL

  18. Well I for one enjoyed your coming through and explaining what you did. Hopefully your explanation will influence those who decided to boycott the polls, because they thought people were trying to ruin them, will come back now that they realize you were only trying to enhance them.
  19. fom what i've seen the Filmtracks scoreboard is in complete uproar, and most of the newer posts on the IMDB's John Williams board are very upset, so mostly similar reactions to here
  20. well Munich was an oscar favorite up until it was selectively released when it was bashed by alot of critics for its political perspective. Since then its oscar-likeliness went down.
  21. Williams just has to be lucky enough to score the most oscar-hyped movie of the year like Schindlers' list. Or an oscar-hyped film that has a theme voters will remember like all his other films, but he always has to avoid the split vote.
  22. This just proves the oscars can't be trusted again for what seems to be the hundreth time. Right now the BAFTA's seem like a more honorable award system.
  23. oh yeah, "is it a bird" that was another funny track title
  24. i've noticed hook has two different song title versions, i've seen one version on the album with track 3 titled banning back home, but then there is for the same song sheet music entitled "yuppie sounds", now where did they get that title, it sounds almost as if it should be on barney.
