If you think about it he could have won 5 oscars from 1977 to 1982 
 
In 1977 he could have won for either Star Wars or Close Encounters (they chose Star Wars)
In 1978 he should have won for Superman
In 1980 he should have won for Empire Strikes back
In 1981 he should have for Raiders of the Lost Ark
In 1982 he won for E.T

Aaaannnndddd sure enough, my mother texted me today confused about the pricing on the music box link not in US dollars 😂 
 
I should’ve placed a bet on it at least I would’ve made some quick cash 😂 

The original OST album wasn't a masterpiece of album programming though.  It's a mostly chronological, mostly unedited assembly of cues that happened to have been recorded already when they had to lock a program in order for the album to be in stores the same week as the film, with no concert arrangements or anything specially recorded just for it, and one entire track playing at the wrong speed. 
 
It's very clear to me that if schedules had been different, some of the arrangements we eventually got on the Williams/Spielberg CD probably would have been recorded at the film's scoring sessions, and the OST album would have come out different than it is, certainly including some of the music that hadn't been recorded yet like the climax of the score.
 
The new LLL main program and Disc 3 program are assembled with love and care and are approved by John Williams.

Finally, the vinyl/CD bundle has arrived...luckily in good condition.

I began working on this album in May of 2016.
 
The whole story of the album will be shared on various podcasts coming soon.

The majority of the release comes from analog tape that Shawn Murphy saved his brilliant stereo mixes of every take to, in 1991.  Nobody has to worry about any sound issues with this release -- as the samples should already tell you.  Just compare the samples of "Flight To Neverland", "The Ultimate War (Film Version)", and "Swordfight and The End of Hook" to the same music on the 2012 edition.
 
The songs (which were not recorded by Shawn Murphy) were saved on various different formats but sound just as good.
