Yes. He is the only person JW wants to handle his catalog now. The Quartet Tom Sawyer is the last JW catalog title that came out without MM in charge. 

Superman is one of the best JW scores, I think I’ve bought it in all releases available... sequels as well!
 
This will be phenomenal! Also, I feel that - though good as the Blue Box is - expanded editions has really moved into new territory. La La Land (and Varese) has raised the bar, lead by MM, in terms of presentation, both presentation of audio and packaging.

3CD sets are becoming more and more usual. Especially when it's a JW release, it's not seen as a risk any more. The next Hook set will also be a 3CD set, I bet.

I haven't even listened to E.T. and CE3K and that is no joke.

Now that I think about it,I think this set would have been cool with each score in it's own double c.d. jewel case inserted into a cardboard box like the Potter set or Indy box
As it is now it doesn't stand out on a shelf

I like the physical aspect of taking the CD off the shelf, popping it into the player, and reading the liner notes.

I was just losing any hope to see the package arrive today, so I got ready to leave. I went outside to take out the trash and write a note for the postman... when I saw him arrive!
 
The boxset is finally HERE! It’s really big, nicely crafted and absolutely gorgeous! Plus, no damage whatsoever! The wait is over. Can’t wait to dive into the booklets later tonight.

Same here.  I didn't get the Blue Box due to the price and that I really didn't have a need or want to listen to the animated series music.  I'll definitely purchase S:TM if/when LLL releases it (hopefully soon).
 
 
I believe there is quite a bit that he composed for S:TM that was unused in the film that was used for II & III, plus IV had music that JW wrote as well.  I don't have all the info on it, someone else would have to confirm that.

It's been so long since I've seen the Superman movies and I never had the FSM Blue Box so it was an easy choice for me to purchase this set as well as Sup IV earlier this year.
 
I would say it's worth getting if you don't have the blue box for sure!

Yea, it's goddamn impressive that around these 3 huge Potter scores, he wrote 3 Star Wars prequels scores, 6 Spielberg scores, and 3 other scores as well.  And did all kinds of concert pieces, concerts conducted, and everything else.  And he was in his 70s.  What a legend!

I believe both Wyatt Earp and Danes With Wolves were held up for months and months (years?) waiting for Costner's approval.  Maybe Waterworld too, I don't recall hearing about that one though.
 
 
LOL, those are hardly the only unreleased things from Hook.  There's still stuff you can hear IN THE FILM that hasn't been on any boot, leak, or the expanded CD
