  1. No, and no. Ok time for a clue, this film influenced E.T (apparently)
  2. I would like to hear what you did Karovd! Please post it. or otherwise, (I may regret this later!) , but I will render an orchestration of Marcus piece with some nice sounds, if you send me the midi file, Karovd. Since Marcus is the winner, it seems, I think his composition deserves as such.
  3. Phoebe, in 1991, around the time she was filming Drop Dead Fred. 2nd would be a man called John Towner Williams.
  4. I dont believe you Hellgi! It's not that I dont' believe you I just, don't believe you. You have an illness called "delusions".
  5. Me? no, you are a better squirrel than I marcus, you like to squirm, don't you?
  6. I'm just a squirrel, trying to get a nut.
  7. Nothing enigmatic about AI. He's just better composer than you!
  8. I always look at trees, every time I can see out the window. They calm me.
  9. Aye marcus? I wrote one too, and I think it buries your one. I threw it away. But if you want to throw down, sure.
  10. you're good. A little too good maybe? But you still missed #1.
  11. E.T is the best finale, yes. It's actually not that great visually, but the editing and the music are perfect. Williams elevated the film in only a way that someone like he could. He put his heart and soul into it. He literally became, E.T. He even made the blackened heart of AI, shed, almost a tear.
  12. I voted for your one, Bowie. Marcus piece is very good but it wasn't composed for this purpose, so he lost a couple of gold stars. In the eyes of the AI. Jeshopk's piece is clearly written for a different type of character. David Vincent's one, sounds not much like Indiana Jones, though it is fine a piece of film score. MSM's one, has an Indy type of feel, but it was a little too repetitive on the theme. DV's and MSM's ones suffer a little from a not so great sounds.
  13. Heavens to Betsy, neither can I. Well actually I can, the last film I bought was Out of the Blue
  14. How about we give this old game a little kickstart... 1) 2) 3)
  15. Here is the scenario; Let's say, you are walking by a park, on your way somewhere, and you see a Man, sitting on a bench, seemingly looking at the trees. When you look a little closer, you realize it is in fact him, it is that man, John Williams. Would you approach him? Of course you don't have to do it straight away, you can take as much time as you want. If you like, give your reasons as to why you would, or would not! Would you approach and speak to that man?
  16. The AI has listened to all of them. The AI, voted for which he thinks is the most heartfelt one. The AI, (why do you keep calling yourself "The AI? isn't that a little pretentious?)
  17. Now how's this for a poll? Here's the scenario; Let's say, he has a cellphone, and leaves it on, pretty much all the time that he is free to talk. Now through some magical process, you are given this number. You don't have to dial it check if it is him, you know for a fact that it is indeed his cellphone number, and if you dial it, he will answer it. Would you dial it? Of course you don't have to do it straight away, you can take as much time as you want. If you like, give your reasons as to why you would, or would not! AI, back with another one of those block rockin' polls..
  18. Schindler's List: once at the cinema, at least 12 times on VHS. Now why would you want to do that AI? Because it's a brilliant film, and there is so much detail in it, a lot of which I didn't even begin to notice until about the 6th or 7th viewing. Saving Private Ryan: about 3 times on VHS. Memoirs Of A Geisha: once on DVD Angela's Ashes: Once on DVD Seven Years In Tibet: Once on VHS Sleepers: Once on TV Munich: Once on DVD Catch Me If You Can: Once on DVD, once on TV
  19. The "let's see you drop them pants" moment in Deliverance. The "Put an empty chamber in that gun Nicky, empty chamber in that gun! Do It!" moment in The Deer Hunter. I could go on. "You talkin to me, huh, talkin' to me?, huh! Faster than you, shitheel..."
  20. The AI composes his own requeim. Aye? The Ai composes his own death mass, and it goes thusly: (silence) Eh AI, you are too hard on yourself mate, you are ok.
  21. Spin out, Trash out. Such is the way of the AI.
