  2. Of course, he's dead ! Well, until The Clone Wars TV Series.
  3. I don't own the original OST, so I happily ordered this Deluxe Edition. The fact the final part of the score was MIA has always disturbed me, so I am waiting for such an edition on CD since... 2003. I am curious about the samples, which I found not very well chosen (they doesn't show the potential of this score IMHO), but maybe it's just me.
  4. I do prefer the sound of the 1994 expanded reissue. There's something strange in the 2014 edition to my ears. Just my 2 cents.
  5. Maybe no clue is the clue... What if the clues are here but invisible ? So I predict HOLLOW MAN Deluxe Edition as a 2-CD set (Goldsmith) and MEMOIRS OF AN INVISIBLE MAN Deluxe Edition (Walker).
  6. Last summer, MV on FSM said it could be back in LLL's catalog when I asked him about. EDIT: found it. Dear MV, is there any chance for Morricone’s „The Untouchables” 2CDs re-release ? Yes

  8. So YOU ARE John Williams ! Obi-Wan was wise to hide... wait a minute!
  9. Well, that already happened: for example, their excellent release from THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY vanished without any warning while it was an INT title too. Maybe like for Sup' 3 CD set / Superman II/III set, Mr Williams didn't like the source music just after the OST or the film score and asked for a new edit? If better elements have been found, I'll happily spend my money on it!
  10. As you say... EDIT: Jay, why this topic's title says JAWS - 2019 Intrada 2CD release ? Have you got a scoop?
  11. Sorry if this has been already reported: http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.9909/.f JAWS 2CD SET: SOLD OUT. A new formula says: "The Jaws 2CD set is currently sold out but will likely be re-issued at some point with a slightly different program". A slightly different program?
  12. Excellent, thank you Jason! Thoses stories about Jerry prising Schindler's List: priceless!
  13. From LLL's FB page 8 days ago: La-La Land Records 12 juin, 07:34 · "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JURASSIC PARK!! Celebrate this timeless classic's 25th anniversary by picking up John Williams' score. Down to just 100 units. Grab it before this 4 CD set goes extinct!"
  14. I forgot... I took a picture of the music credits during the end credits! Here iit comes!
  15. Well somebody here in France is claiming Amazon.fr did bring him today the CD...
  16. The movie was released today in France. I just saw it. I won't say anything else. NO SPOILER here. About the music, the movie is mixed so loud on the sound effects that it's hard, very hard, to hear the music, except for few scenes. For example, scenes where the love theme, very Korngoldian, can be heard -- and the opening scene, with the probable first exposition of what John Williams wrote for "The Adventures of Han". I can't wait to be able to listen to the CD. I was waiting for more reprises from the material Williams wrote over the years but there are just smart quotes, at the right moments (I can't say more now). I would say it's a more modern SW score, but still in the codes of the saga, musicaly speaking. John Powell has done a superb job, tipping his hat to Williams' work, bringing his own signature in terrific ways (of the Force). And yes, the movie is good!

  18. What an art of teasing , thank you ! Movie opens tomorrow in France. I'll make a report!
  19. I was banned out of the queue few seconds before being able to get a ticket for the London concert, so I seek for at least one ticket for RAH concert. Please help me, JWFan people, you're my only hope. Please...
  20. Thank you for all your work here, I spent a fantastic time viewing ALL of them!
  21. I voted for A.I. When I saw the movie in a theater in 2001, I knew I wanted every single note recorded for that score. The 3 CD set is a dream come true. I also adore the JP Collection (I love so much The Lost World) and the Home Alone sets. E.T. is a pure bliss too. Hard to choose! I now wish MM would revisit Hook...
  22. From today's 'Newletter' received by e-mail: Our history of releasing great soundtracks from Stephen King inspired novels dates back to our early days.
