Recording session. Its really a no-brainer.

I liked Batman Returns, moreso than the original, but they all pale in comparison (except MotP) to Begins.
-
They didn't have a falling-out. They just mutually agreed on King Kong.
-
Well, I guess you've further proved their stupidity.
-
Indeed. And somehow I doubt the score would have been as good if the movie was watchable. Batman & Robin at least had Alicia Silverstone. Previn conducts Korngold Are you actually suggesting that B&R is better than Forever? Rabbit--Who likes Burton's Batman movies.
-
Barton Fink confused the crap out of me. I still loved it, though.
-
I hope your joking.
-
That was a bit harsh Merkel.
-
Thats not something I'll forget any time soon.

No one *beep* wit' de Jesus.
-
Yeah, to a really crappy movie.
-
Well, you know, when the director and composer disagree too much.
-
Why do you call Stefancos "master"?
-
I'm surprised there hasn't been a biography written about him until now.

They'll do anything for money.

Lets hope the series doesn't mimick the Batman franchise by having the next two suck, killing the series again.

Will the next Superman really be named Superman Forever?
-
Well, I don't hate anyone, but I'd have to say that I dislike Zimmer the most. Jedi Rocks would have to be my least favorite Williams cue. Edit: Sorry, I'll change my least favorite to Lapti Nek.

Presenting the Hook ends on a pretty big boom-tssss.

Has anyone noticed the similarity between The Droid Invasion (Phantom Menace) and Belly of the Steel Beast (The Last Crusade)?
-
Now thats a completist!
-
This would be a lot easier if I owned any version of Jaws.
-
At least we can spell...
-
I can't see any of them.

Well, aside from the obvious Kevin-related bits, Hook also has some parts of underscore (pretty much all missing from the CD I think) which already sound very much like TPM. Just like Last Crusade already has plenty of hints to later scores. You can often trace certain approaches through scores from many years apart. Of course, only in few cases do they actually sound more or less the same (like Desert Chase being reworked into Escape from Venice and later making an appearance in Hook... or that rather annoying zombie called Ludlow). You can read all about Hook's relation to other scores at the filmtracks.com Hook page.
