  1. Would many of the posters here recommend SPACE CAMP? Is it a must-have? Or just a decent Williams score to have in the collection?
  2. Looks awesome. By the time I get around to deciding whether or not I want it, it'll probably be sold out.
  3. Really? I would say this guy is Oscar Isaac. It's a CGI version of a young Abe Vigoda. The VFX and cinematography looks great in the teaser. Looking forward to seeing how this thing turns out.
  4. Kritzerland's released Herrmann's THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. Limited to 1200 copies. The samples sound excellent. http://www.kritzerland.com/day_earth_still.htm
  5. Aw, shit... I'm glad you've been discussing it, though. This is one of the finest quotes I've read in a long time.
  6. Have you ever wanted to shit yourself in a movie theater? Be sure to catch AVATAR 2, and you'll finally be able to, according to Jimmy Cameron: http://www.theverge.com/2014/11/26/7295013/james-cameron-avatar-sequels-oh-god-no "They're gonna be bitchin'. You will shit yourself with your mouth wide open." -- James Cameron, 2014
  7. I lol'd at the end of the trailer, with Pratt driving a motorcycle alongside some raptors. It's one of those things that's on the boderline of awesome and totally ridiculous, almost like a Chuck Norris joke. CGI looks like trash, too, but I'm guessing that'll improve by June. Otherwise, this should be fun. I'll gladly check it out in IMAX 3D.
  8. THE TERMINAL (Williams) Is this a popular score around here? I really enjoy it. I don't think the film's half-bad, either.
  9. Would have been nice if it was rated R and a lot more like the novel. Minus Crichton's whacky anti-science ideas.
  10. It won't be hard to top the other films, considering they were never that good in the first place. Just looked it up. I've probably watched the film about 150 times since 1994 and have never noticed it until now.
  11. I lol'd. And voted for Stan Winston's "2001: Space Movie".
  12. That's a good way of looking at this. I'm hoping they take the opportunity to introduce more Crichton-like elements that were overlooked in the first three flicks. I'm also not going to take some kid's interpretation of the trailer seriously. I'll wait until I see it myself.
  13. If Tadlow is recording this soon, then when do you think we could expect a release? Early 2015?

  15. More Badalamenti is always a good thing.
  16. I wish he had Twitter. @JohnWilliams yo john lol wuts up
  17. How was the conversation with management? -
  18. I'd like to see Morgan Freeman play John Williams. With Cliff Howard as Steven Spielberg.
  19. Have any of you made contact with John Williams? Whether if you wrote a letter to him and he responded with a personal message, or if you sent him a request for an autograph. If so, by what means did you contact him? Just curious.
  20. literally the most stupid thing posted in a long time. After looking at a few of your past posts, I strongly disagree.
  21. Nah. But I'd certainly see DEBBIE DOES DALLAS in IMAX 3D.
