  1. Eh this is part of a boot so it may have a complete version but Lucas re edited something so it was made to end there
  2. I have a wierd boot from empire that has the cues laid out and in proper order it is weird
  3. Yes and ET had an isolated score on the laser disc so boots would be easier to get close encounters hasn't been as well heard because A it didn't get a isolated score and B it was released the same year as star wars so people would ask for star wars before that. That being said there is more scores that need to be done before ET because I know some of them have never even been expanded so therefore the tapes have been untouched for sometime... Oh my...
  4. Yes if that is the case close encounters should be done therefore it is older and it could be more deteriorated
  5. Very true we will either get one or the other or both as two separate releases.
  6. Hmm not sure there I would have to go back and check but I am pretty sure the cue that plays when the officer drives off the cliff, the scene where they show the fake ufo picture, dead animals scene, I am pretty sure there are others as well as alternates that we haven't heard. I wonder if it will include that weird disco version as well..
  7. WOULD BE GREAT! I could finally have proper recordings than the boots I have! Now I just need a complete PDF of Close Encounters to read while I listen to it complete like I have done in the past with ET! What if we are all wrong and it is a surprise complete version of Dracula because poof the masters where in storage all along in an unmarked box!
  8. Same here there is so much with that score it is amazing it has not even been leaked like all the other soundtracks, what makes this one so different? I would give a few things away if someone said they would give it to me.
  9. Well based on the JW Sketches I have seen and talking to an orchestrator that has worked with him that JW Practilly just has them copy over to the staff paper his sketches clearly show everything so they are just copyist and nothing more for him 90% of the time and the same goes for JG.
  10. My bad it is is name is Mark Tymchyshyn he played Mel Powers in George Lopez, Sorry my bad
  11. Thanks xD go check out goodwills they can't tell what is a good CD/Vinyl for shit! IT's where I got my original pressings of Star Wars,E.T., And CEOFTK from!
  12. Good point, I wonder if there is a vault that MCA use to keep their old stuff that is unarchived somewhat, it could be in there. Also I picked up the CD, found it at a goodwill for 75 cents today looking for vinyls and I hear the hiss you guys were talking about as well.
  13. I was recently talking to the Orchestrator Steven Smalley from Robocop and I asked him if Basil kept his work and he told me he had a copy of every score he did in his studio, I am curious because Robocop 1 and 3 are my favorite of his scores and if there are somewhere I can plan a visit and come study I would love to. I have already checked the Margret Herrick Library and they have nothing form Robocop there. So what did become of his scores that he had in his studio? They do not go poof and vanish? I can't find a written record of where they went. JKMS maybe? Where? Any help here would be hot.
