Everything posted by Cerebral Cortex

  1. I need to try and track down that one fan cover that was posted here that made it look like the prequel album covers.
  2. Disappointing Williams didn't write the Cantina song. However, getting a video clip where we get to hear Williams say "JJ Baby" would more than make up for it.
  3. In terms of money made possibly? Just a guess. Regardless, we shouldn't really listen to what Spielberg says when it comes to Star Wars films... http://nypost.com/2005/05/10/forced-to-tears-spielberg-wept-at-sith/
  4. I think he's saying it could be the biggest film of all time, not that it is the greatest film of all time.
  5. Absolutely loved Joe Kraemer's MI score. Very glad to hear we'll probably be getting another one!
  6. Would the inclusion of a "cellar song" seem to indicate that the track listings were posted prematurely/were inaccurate? I can't place my finger on a track title that would seem to be the cellar song from the leaked listings.
  7. LAST CRUSADE excessive in length? It's 59 minutes, and hardly a boring second among them. IMO, it beats the other two by a MILE. But I guess I'm the only one who feels that way... I do too. ^ I'm with Thor and TheGreyPilgrim on this one. Last Crusade is by far my most listened to Indy score and great as the extra tracks from the Concord are, the OST flows marvelously all the way through. TOD has my favorite End Credits suite/recording of the Raiders' March however. You guys are my kind of people.
  8. I could be wrong but isn't that how it normally goes? Isn't the U.S. Amazon website typically one of the later ones to actually put up the track titles? Plus it is Thanksgiving there so a delay in the updating the website with tracks should be expected. That does seem to be when he started depending on his glasses more, yes.
  9. I agree. Certainly going to be one of those things we're going to have to keep our eyes on.
  10. I too had a very hard time hearing it. With that said, I think the music is actually the easiest to hear in this video. Starts at around 2:20.
  11. I've been told by a good friend of mine who knows someone who knows someone who knew someone who works at Lucasfilm that the soundtrack will include every note composed for the film. Of course, that guy used to work at Sony before, so there's that. He used to work at Sony? No wonder this information got leaked!
  12. If 30 seconds of potentially new Williams Star Wars music renders 11 pages worth of discussion, I can only imagine what it'll be like once the OST is released.
  13. May have already been posted but supposedly the last recording session was actually yesterday.
  14. Oh no! You're right. I guess we need a poll to decide if that's what the article was referring to or not, haha.
  15. Variety said it is Williams. http://makingstarwars.net/2015/11/star-wars-the-force-awakens-tv-spot-features-new-williams-music-variety-confirms/
  16. I was thinking the same thing. If it was Williams, I'd tend to think that they would have said something by now. Then again, it does sound like an interpretation of something he has written.
  17. If the music in this spot was written by Williams, I'm going to have to say Williams wrote the music.
  18. At least they're not as bad as the Spectre teaser poster where the entire logo was covering Craig's face.
