Jay, is Marge points the finger on the set?

Mine still does!
And that's another reason to hate Apple!
But it doesn’t make sense to make a laptop way thicker and heavier just to include an optical drive... I have an external USB CD player which I use to import CDs to iTunes (https://goo.gl/images/T3Xy2y)

A few Harry Potter fans I know only listen to Lily's Theme from Deathly Hallows.
A very good choice, if you’re just gonna listen to one cue.

I have seen the movie twice now and really love the movie and the score! I added a few cues that I know are missing from the OST to the track-list. I know there is more missing music but I can't really place it and some of the cues I added to the list might not be chronological.
1. The Threstal Chase (8:04)
2. Newt and Leta (2:32)
- Ministry meeting - Grindelwald arrives in Paris
3. Dumbledore (2:11)
- ”It has to be you” - Newt takes the job
- The baby nifflers - newts apartment
4. The Kelpie (1:32)
- Jacob and Queenie - Queenie leaves - Jacob in the Rain
5. Newt and Jacob Pack for Paris (2:27)
6. Nagini (4:15)
- Queenie arrives in Paris - french ministry of magic
7. Newt Tracks Tina (2:27)
8. Queenie Searches for Jacob (1:35)
9. Irma and the Obscurus (2:56)
- ”For the greater good”
- Queenie and Grindelwald
10. Blood Pact (2:29)
11. Capturing the Zouwu (1:33)
- Releasing the Zouwu
- Curing Yusuf Kama
12. Traveling to Hogwarts (1:06) (I think this was cue used in another scene)
- Hogwarts (slightly re-arranged and re recorded)
13. Leta’s Flashback (4:40)
- Polyjuice - Tina and newt enter fresh ministry - Theseus discovers newt
14. Salamander Eyes (2:38)
15. Matagots (2:15)
- Jacob and Nicholas Flamel
16. Your Story is Our Story (3:21)
17. Leta’s Confession (5:14)
- Grindelwald Rally - Grindelwald Enters - Speech
18. Vision of War (3:49)
19. Spread the Word (4:01)
20. Wands into the Earth (4:04)
21. Restoring Your Name (6:20)
22. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2:40)
- End credits (not sure if this is a cue/cues from the OST, an unreleased cue/cues or a new end credits composition, I had to leave during the credits)
- Will, TheUlyssesian, Knight of Ren and 1 other

@Jay Just wondering, is there a reason why PS has multiple cover art designs but COS and POA do not (and essentially reuse the existing OST cover art)?
Would be very cool to see some alternative/draft artwork for Azkaban, if Jim Titus ever considered them.
On a slightly unrelated note, I finally got around to reading through the booklet for Dracula. Jim absolutely knocked that booklet out of the park, just superb art direction all round. If Potter matches that, it will be glorious indeed.
HP2 isn't the OST cover. It's the DVD cover. The DVD was a blackish cover with the main characters (there were also alternative covers with the characters alone). The HP2 LLL cover is the DVD cover. HP3 is the OST image.

Thanks Jay! Not sure which cover I'll use, they're both good!

You guys are close with the lyrics - closer than I got when I first heard it! I also can barely tell what the children are singing for some reason. Especially since I had no idea at first there was Latin in there!
Anyhoo, the full lyrics are printed in the outer booklet, along with all the lyrics to all the songs in the whole set! Can't wait to read that booklet lol
Was there ever a discussion about including the tracked music in the HP2 score presentation?

YES!
Oh yes!
David Arnold from 20 years ago is still miles ahead of that Newman trash.
Newman's Bond scores are great! I like Arnold's Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace which are great scores but not really his older ones... I would really like LLL to release the John Barry Bond scores though!

This is the best LLL news since Titanic!
As the HP3 cover uses the OST image, I made my own version of the LLL cover:

I made an alternative cover for the new HP3 edition from LLL (as it used the OST image):

FINALLY. I'VE DONE MY WAITING. 12 YEARS OF IT
Same! I’m definitively ordering this immediately! The HPs have been by holy grail scores and this is the only one I never got in complete form.

Pretty sure it won’t be Hp

Schindler's List is cool and everything but we knew it was coming. Less than 30 minutes unreleased... I thought the bootleg was 4 discs? Anyway... not complaining.
The sessions had multiple takes of each cue. I wish they didn’t put the ost on disc 1 but well I’ll fix that in iTunes.

I'd write a letter of invitation to Hogwarts to each La La Land employee, but with the caveat that they're pre-sorted into Slytherin.
Write that they weren't admitted to Hogwarts at all because of poor behavior in 2018

I would be disappointed if they only release HP1 this year because I already have the complete score in good quality but it'll still be good news as it would mean the other HPs are coming sooner or later.

Has anyone ripped these cues and tagged them?
So the film ending of Buckbeak's Flight wasn't recorded that in full that way?

I wonder if this is the same violin concerto that was written a few years ago and released officially a few months ago or if it is indeed a new one, like the article says.

The original interview where he slammed everything from the Oscars to Tarantino etc seemed very out of character so it's not that surprising that it's fake. The great directors he listed did not include Sergio Leone lol...

I’m Swedish and this is a great choice. The first movie in the series is a classic!

I would say the very average person only knows Hedwig's theme, not who composed it or in which movie it appeared first. They would just say the Harry Potter theme or "Harry Potter song".

Harry Potter 7CD Collection - SAMPLES and clips discussion

Yes this is a nice film edit, how the rising melody goes into the flying car cue in the movie.
I don't really care about combined tracks as long as they don't cross fade cues, however I always prefer to listen to scores in chronological order, makes more sense thematically (but a cue here and there doesn't really matter).
But if you listen to the Lord of the Rings complete recordings, doesn't it make much more sense thematically to listen in chronological order?
