    Yes this is a nice film edit, how the rising melody goes into the flying car cue in the movie.

     

    I don't really care about combined tracks as long as they don't cross fade cues, however I always prefer to listen to scores in chronological order, makes more sense thematically (but a cue here and there doesn't really matter).

    Have to admit though that it's interesting to see people here who are more OCD than me.

     

    Films aren't made with listening experience in mind and the composer serves the film.

    But that doesn't mean that the film order is necessarily musically the best order.

     It's got nothing to do with the composer making a mistake. As composed, it was right for the film. But it can be even better.

     

    So who's going to make the poll on this subject? :P

    But if you listen to the Lord of the Rings complete recordings, doesn't it make much more sense thematically to listen in chronological order?

    I have seen the movie twice now and really love the movie and the score! I added a few cues that I know are missing from the OST to the track-list. I know there is more missing music but I can't really place it and some of the cues I added to the list might not be chronological.

    Would be very cool to see some alternative/draft artwork for Azkaban, if Jim Titus ever considered them. 

     

    On a slightly unrelated note, I finally got around to reading through the booklet for Dracula. Jim absolutely knocked that booklet out of the park, just superb art direction all round. If Potter matches that, it will be glorious indeed. 

    HP2 isn't the OST cover. It's the DVD cover. The DVD was a blackish cover with the main characters (there were also alternative covers with the characters alone). The HP2 LLL cover is the DVD cover. HP3 is the OST image.

     Anyhoo, the full lyrics are printed in the outer booklet, along with all the lyrics to all the songs in the whole set!

    Can't wait to read that booklet lol

     

    Was there ever a discussion about including the tracked music in the HP2 score presentation?
