  1. I have seen the movie and I like the score! It's just a shame that Silvestri didn't use the character themes from the other movies. Iron Man's scenes would have been great with Djawadi's or Tyler's theme, Cap's theme from first avenger or Winter soldier would have been great in the Wakanda scenes, Thor's theme from thor 1 or 2 and the Guardians theme would have been cool as well. Otherwise the score is very good!

Btw, does anyone know the difference between the extended tracks and the regular versions of those extended tracks?

Joe Kraemer liked this tweet even though McQuarrie dismissed this story as false. Is McQuarrie possibly lying to save his publicity? He said that social media isn't the proper place to explain the composer switch.

This guy really holds a grudge. I read some of his other tweets... saying that McQurrie is betraying film music lol

Well, JW wasn't sued by the Copland Foundation over Lincoln.

Right but still the same thing. Listen to Korngold’s Kngs Row and then to the Star Wars main titles music and tell me it’s not very very similar.

Also Giacchino’s Star Trek Into Darkness cue “London calling” is very similar to Beethoven.

My point is that every film composer “steals” or is inspired by classical music which is partly why film music is great!😄

  4. Yes his score was great. The Solomon lame theme for example. Too bad it wasn’t used in the film completely though.

But as it clearly wont be Kraemer I would definitively prefer some other composers over Balfe.

At lest Zimmer's not returning, but to get one of his disciples is hardly better...

I would be very interested in zimmer scoring MI6. As it’s a different director he won’t be asked to deliver a similar score to MI2 (which is fun btw) so it could be really interesting.
