I saw that The Last Samurai was coming on TV later and decided to watch it elsewhere without commercials. It's an enjoyable film, rather poignant at times. I'm sure most people disliked it.
What is there to dislike about The Last Samurai?
The last movie I saw in theatres was Spectre with my dad. We both liked it a lot but I was a little frustrated with the ending. Without going into detail I feel like that theme is becoming routine in the Craig era. Just be Bond already!

I grew up on Speilberg and Disney films.

Disney World is my favorite place on earth. 4 parks, 2 water parks, Disney Springs, Disney Boardwalk, and a never ending amount of resorts that are as beautifully designed as the parks themselves.

I completely believe the main stream media doesn't care but someone at either Disney or Lucasfilm was quick to reveal the trailer wasn't John Williams so I can't figure out why they aren't doing that this time unless it is John Williams.

Here's the new Star Wars version of Space Mountain at Disneyland. The music is newly recorded by the LSO. I'll check it out tonight if it's open.

The only reason I think it could possibly be John is becasue there is a definite theme. A theme I've never heard before. There are, however, many more reasons that make me think it's someone else.

why would they still be paying someone to compose music for a TV spot when they have the recording sessions now
I think JJ may be so excited to work with John Williams on a Star Wars film that he is purposefully holding the new music back until the film releases. At least I HOPE SO!

Is it because you're afraid it might be Williams and it doesn't sound up to par? That's how I feel. I don't think it's Williams but I honestly don't know for sure. It's harder for me to detect the synth sound than others here. If it is synth it is very good synth.

Honestly I am glad that we haven't heard any of his music yet (assuming we haven't) I am have my fingers crossed that this will be the best thing he's written in years and I'd love to be surprised by it in the cinema.
