I got one!!! It's high up in the balcony and has a somewhat obstructed view, but just grateful to be going.

It was revealed by the BPO insider guy on the board that the piece had a significant revision.  I think the newer version has been performed, but I don't think we have a recording.  Though, I could be wrong.  

Williams seems to be pretty fond of performing it, so yeah, I expect he'll do it himself as an encore, followed by the obligatory Imperial March.
 
If we're graced with three encores, like at Film Night last year, what would you want to hear...? I'd love to hear him perform Yoda's Theme live just once.

I don't know about Philly, but in New York he'll be the guest of honour at the benefit gala dinner after the show, so there will be no easy escape from the fans willing to wait outside in the cold for hours to toss flowers at him as he exits into a waiting car...

Remember that Just Down West Street has been significantly revised.......

Is that usual for his half-and-half concerts where he starts? I expected him to come back out for the encores after Denève's half, giving him a chance to rest. It would certainly be a better way to end the evening. I guess we'll see...

I wonder if "Tributes! For Seiji" will be added to the program in light of yesterday's news. It's a lovely piece.

Public news. But Williams seems to have been a personal friend, so he might well have been informed earlier.
 
It seems there should be several more videos of Ozawa with Williams (or conducting his music) that cannot be found on YouTube. But at least there's this:
 

Aaaaw, sorry to hear it. But he was in a very frail state last time I saw him, so I knew he didn't have long. It's somehow comforting to know that he and Williams managed to meet one last time, when he did the concerts in Japan last year.

Dozens of floor seats are currently available (towards the back and off to the side). They’re all $509. Still can’t get over the insane prices for this and the Philly show vs. previous years.

Yep, fortunately I was later able to snag one!
 
By the way, there appear to be a few (rather pricey -- $500) tickets on sale right now on the official website. Just FYI in case anyone is still looking.
