Just thinking of Haitink Bruckner 7 with BPO (BPO records) and Hrusa Smetana Ma Vlast second take with Bambergers (Accentus). These kind of limited prints sell like Andy Warhols.

You have made my day! Yes, but not just quite as pronounced as with the BPO. No bells up in ET finale. But horn tutti were generally so magical and "forceful". Felt sorry for Leia's Solo horn flubs, but flute solo was great. But the one-off BPO Leia success feels even more special.

This will be followed by “Han Solo and the Princess” on 29 April, with a special YouTube premiere for its video on 4 May – Star Wars Day. The e-single and video of “Marion’s Theme” will be released on the same day as the album, 3 June, while the video of the Theme from The Long Goodbye will come out with the Blu-ray album on 19 August."

And then there'll be the Japanese HQ "Deluxe Edition" and the exclusive "Signature Edition" limited to 504 units and released on May 4th. Better stop giving DG silly ideas...

I'm beginning to feel that these concerts weren't designed to satisfy the hard-core fan 100% but rather to provide a well-balanced survey of The Music of John Williams for attendees who may have missed out last time - fair enough. If I were seeing JW for the first time in my life live, I would probably even accept Nimbus 2000 instead of Fawkes. So I am gradually lowering my TROS and Rey Theme expectations.... Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly, i.e. that nobody onstage tests positive and that nobody backstage forgets to press the record button !!!

I observed some lucky signings after a Boston Pops concert in 2009. I didn't manage. There were body guards escorting JW to the car, as usual. Remember that guy in Berlin who stalked JW at the stage door?
