That reminds me, on my New Year's walk around the city I saw this in the shop windows of the local EMI (i.e. HMV) store:

 
I told my mother that it would make a nice birthday present if they're free to give it away once they don't display it any more (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more), but she later told me that she'd asked and they said it's actually glued to the window and won't be usable anymore after they remove it.

UHQCD play on normal CD-players.
 
SHM-CD = Super High Material Compact Disc; invented by Universal Music Japan using superior materials to manufacture CDs.
 
I can't really tell the difference between UHQCD and SHM-CD.

Haha - actually I do wish they had spent their ample time (!) to incorporate more than a couple of audience and moderation shots of the historic and in a couple of cases better Saturday performance in a more balanced way, so to speak. Well, let's be thankful for what transpired.

So cool, that the SACD arrived today on Williams 89th Birthday Anniversary.

The little elf in my library is telling me "Stop, stop, stop it!" - but I sometimes get the feeling that CD's are being phased out, and thus I have fallen for the hard-copy, retro and second hand market.
 
I also believe that my hard-copy collection is a permanent record of my own journey through music. And I tend to get sentimental at times when thinking back of the days when my Dad took the seven-year old boy to see and hear "Star Wars IV".
 
John William's pre-Corona concerts in Vienna were historical milestones in every respect, worth taking up some extra space at home.

SACD sets are usually very limited and sell out very quickly; only to reappear on the secondary market with super jacked up prices.
