  1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem Are you sure you want to go this way?
  2. Ah okay. I didn't really hear the separation as clear as in original. I like the overall mock-up quality. Nice work!
  3. Shouldn't the violins repeat the higher register notes with some stac articulation?
  4. I didn't watch Solo and am not going to watch any more Star Wars movies because of TLJ, unless some talented screenwriters take charge and I get recommendations from friends and other sources I value. Not sure if I was "the fandom" in the past, but I sure am not right now. Consider me a very small, living proof. Unless you mean something else by "breaking the fandom". P.S. Can't wait for new Williams soundtrack and enjoyed Powell's work on Solo very much.
  5. I have always enjoyed this dreamy theme, from an old computer game, accompanying player on the sea. As a bonus I add phone recording of an orchestra performing this music in a concert setting: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rT6jBvz8rhtfXuLmBtFles94OJ18nmY4
  6. Nobody has still figured out what plays in the baseball video?
  7. He is best known for composing soundtrack to Journey computer game I believe.
  8. Right on. It all comes down to mix/mastering/recording techniques. Not so much to the players themselves. Album sounds GREAT and performances are world-class.
  9. After first listen I am, sadly, disappointed. Maybe I will find some time to formulate my thoughts in the future, but for now I don't even have motivation.
  10. These people are "fucking retarded" though. Calling them something else won't change the reality so what's the difference?
  11. Here is an extended version of the piece it would seem. EDIT: Random thought 1: flutes @ 1:46 are drowned in reverb and sound unrealistic to me. Random thought 2: I like the composition/theme, even though it appears to be pretty "lazy" in some places. Random thought 3: I think I prefer Giacchino's "Imperial Suite".
  12. I guess it can be Berlin Brass. It sounds really nice when in good hands.
  13. Because it's made using orchestral instruments sample libraries. Why wouldn't it? It's just not live orchestra recording.
  14. I can't believe you don't hear it's samples, guys. Especially those of you that compose on computers.
