Well, since no one responded to my request about October Sky, here's my best guess at a chronological tracklist of that soundtrack: October Sky Coalwood That’ll Be the Day - Buddy Holly Sputnik! Yakety Yak - The Coasters Searchin’ - The Coasters Cape Coalwood Ain’t that a Shame - Fats Domino Speedo - The Cadillacs Splitting the Sky The Rocket Book I Was Lucky to Know Him It’s All in the Game - Tommy Edwards My Prayer - The Platters I Won’t Shed a Tear The Black Phone The Dreams of Boys Miss Riley Range and Altitude Search for Auk 13 I’ll Be Gone Forever Rocket Boys It’s a Thing of Glory This One’s Yours October Sky

Does anyone have a chronological track order for the "October Sky" soundtrack by Mark Isham?
-
Thanks! I really appreciate the reply. I generally like to (as much as possible without getting into editing tracks, etc) play soundtracks in the basic order the music plays in the films. With this, I've only seen the film once so far, I've only just purchased this soundtrack, and, as has been mentioned, the track names aren't very helpful. So as long as it is more or less (micro edits and rearrangements aside) already in chronological order other than the 2 songs, then that's pretty much what I wanted to know. Thanks again! Cheers!

While it seems most here aren't liking this score (be that as it may), does anyone know if the 54 tracks (other than the 2 songs at the beginning and end) are in chronological order as they appear in the film? And if not, has anyone been able to piece together a chronological order yet?

JW Forum: As you know, our site, the JW Fan Network, is very interested in that FYC, but what I don't understand is why you would sell out to a faceless person that you've never met. I mean, you don't even know his name. FYC Seller: At the stupid high price that he offered for this CD, I hope it's Custer!

Well, I agree that if the price doesn't get too crazy, you should be able to rip it and put it right back up on eBay and either make most or all of your money back. That said, if you do end up running a deficit, then just take note of all the folks (me included) who said they'd help contribute to the cause.

The Rise of Skywalker The Rise of Skywalker OST Album Discussion
Panama Jack replied to Jay's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
This is how I've been listening to it as well. I won't see the film until tomorrow morning, so I'm avoiding the spoiler thread like the plague. So, without getting into spoilers, is this 28 track no-edit playlist the final OST/FYC order if one wanted the most complete score possible in chronological order, but also didn't want to have to splice/edit tracks together? And has there been any rumor at all of a FYC CD to hopefully get those tracks in lossless quality? -

Is this still an accurate chronological mix of the OST & FYC if I wanted a complete-as-possible version of the soundtrack but didn't want to have to do ANY editing of the individual tracks?
