Koray Savas got a reaction from Ollie in Metadata OCD
I used to spend hours of my life reformatting metadata and organizing my iTunes library. Thankfully I stopped caring years ago.

Koray Savas got a reaction from enderdrag64 in Hans Zimmer and Nick-Glennie Smith's THE ROCK (1996) - NEW! 2023 Intrada 2-CD edition
No one is going to know unless you ask HGW. He probably prefers the album presentation like Thor. JW wasn’t even on board for a lot of things until Matessino became his trusted producer for such projects.
Zimmer didn’t want his early scores released because he’s not proud of the music. Could also be something similar to that.

This is a pretty bad list.

Koray Savas reacted to Thor in Hans Zimmer and Nick-Glennie Smith's THE ROCK (1996) - NEW! 2023 Intrada 2-CD edition
One of my top 50 favourite scores of all time, and my second-favourite Zimmer score. A masterpiece through and through, right in the middle of his Golden Age (which IMO lasted between 1989 and 2003). Such a reference point now, and such a great recruiter for new, young film music fans at the time.

It's my favorite Hans Zimmer score.

Finally! Probably one of my favourite Zimmer score, can't wait to get this one

Koray Savas got a reaction from JTN in What is the last Television series you watched?
Mindhunter
Season 2
Major plot holes that arise between seasons aside, I really liked this season as well. Maybe not as strong overall, but pushing Holt McCallany to the forefront was a wise decision. He’s fantastic here, not sure why he isn’t in more prominent roles.
A shame that Season 3 will probably never happen.

Koray Savas got a reaction from Bayesian in A Disney director tried - and failed - to use an AI Hans Zimmer to create a soundtrack
I’d say the necessity for temp music editors is about to be over.

Koray Savas reacted to Faleel in A Disney director tried - and failed - to use an AI Hans Zimmer to create a soundtrack
Koray had little to do with it, it's straight from the article.

Koray Savas got a reaction from Jay in What is the last video game you played?
I’m fine with it. You can completely ignore it, if you want. The game lets you know it’s not expected for you to do it every single time. They built in a lot of accessibility features to make the game easier for those that want a different experience. There’s an “amulet of storytelling” that lets you customize the difficulty in different ways.

Starfield didn’t grab me like Fallout or Elder Scrolls. I’ve heard from podcasters though that it’s a slow start and is better to mainline the story first. Not a traditional BGS game in the sense of being able to wander wherever you want at any time. I’m very early in the game but don’t really have an urge to play it.
I started Sea Of Stars and been enjoying that a lot. Art and music are wonderful.
Before those two I played Sundered. Fantastic rogue like metroidvania. Made by Thunder Lotus, the team behind Spiritfarer, which is a game I fell in love with earlier this year. Beautiful hand drawn animation in all their games.

It becomes generic music.

Koray Savas got a reaction from Naïve Old Fart in 2023 John Williams Official top 10 film scores. Your individual lists.
I’ve personally never been a fan of Star Wars. The scores are great in their respective films, but I’ve never had the desire to listen to them in my free time.
I’m pretty sure I had Temple of Doom on my list at some point in the past. But Indiana Jones generally falls into the same boat as Star Wars for me.
Give me melancholy over bombast any day of the week.

Koray Savas got a reaction from Martinland in Did you get the Dial of Destiny soundtrack on the CD format before it sold out?
Wasn’t following this situation at all and had no idea it was a limited deal that sold out in pre-orders. Got notified it was back up for sale and ordered a copy. It sold out minutes later. The JW collection will remain complete!

Indeed. I’ve been in a rabbit hole of their stuff since I watched this video.

Koray Savas reacted to Marian Schedenig in The Official Ennio Morricone Thread
This is cool:
(And here's a "reaction video"/"masterclass" (I think both deserve the quotes) by an opera singer who at least learned about spaghetti westerns and "Ennio Merrycony" in the process)

Koray Savas got a reaction from MaxMovieMan in Jeremy Zuckerman's AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER - Soundtracks FINALLY coming from Republic Records (Book 2 on the way!)
This is incredible news, but still disappointing that it’s only Book 1. Nickelodeon stopped releasing the Korra soundtracks because Book 1 didn’t sell well enough.
Hopefully the same doesn’t happen here.
