  1. I just realized, you consciously never post in the main Williams sub forum don’t you? Obviously new Williams music is being discussed there.
  2. Praise the lord! The concert version is released!
  3. I like Warwick Davis as Willow, he has a charm that overpowers any limits to his acting abilities. That said, he was an awful quiz show host.
  4. New Variety interview with Brittell https://variety.com/2022/artisans/news/star-wars-andor-music-succession-composer-nicholas-britell-1235279455/
  5. Mine is out for delivery today also and I did get an email notification from Varese that it was.
  6. Count me among those who prefer the concert arrangement heard at Celebration to what I heard from the end credits shared (won't see the show myself until tonight). I fell hard for that concert version yesterday. That had better have been recorded by JW back in Feb and get released!
  7. Sadly after Mando S1 and WandaVision, no other show has done per episode releases
  8. At this point the likelihood of any new Disney score, movie or show, getting a CD release is incredibly slim.
  9. I'm just telling you, as a measure of audience enthusiasm a studio considers a B a bad CinemaScore. Most of the time movies that get an F are the interesting auteur experiments that are a bit confrontational with the audience on purpose. Like Aronofsky's Mother! and Soderbergh's Solaris. Like the new Doctor Strange got a B+, which is pretty mediocre for an MCU movie which almost all get A or A+. And lo and behold, DS2 had the steepest 2nd weekend drop of any MCU movie yet. Eternals got a B and way underperformed on the heels of Shang-Chi doing better than expected.
  10. For a hotly anticipated tentpole, a B cinemascore is an F. It measures enthusiasm of those who went to see it opening night, the audience most motivated to like it. An A- can mean like $100 million less at the box office than if it had an A.
  11. Yeah, they're not going for that achingly gorgeous storybook illustration feel of the original, sadly. What matte paintings!
  12. I did watch this teaser, out of curiosity for what it would look like. It has this look that puts me in mind of the recent Amazon fantasy series in a way I can’t put my finger on. Could be great, but I’m going to miss the gorgeous chemical film look of the original when watching the too crisp digital image.
  13. She’s also executive producer and I’ll bet a million dollars she directs a couple episodes. This will not involve Pizzolato though. Season 3 was easily the best season of the show so he went out on a high.
  14. On my way out of my office building to go home, I found myself whistling the melody to myself
  15. Yes, I am excited about this potentiality! I don't think people got so excited about Mando because it was game-changing, they got excited because it was finally a big live action Disney era Star Wars project that felt comfortable just being Star Wars.
  16. This stream is the content they thought would be more compelling than just streaming the big panel itself? Because this cringey crowd pandering fluff got me like
  17. Oh man I can already tell this live stream will be so cringe, ugh. Looks like they're just showing the teasers that debuted during the panel, so my bet is it's not likely the Williams part will be shown.
  18. I want more, I liked the fleshing out of the planetary politics in Boba
  19. Well I think the stream will be of the panel happening now, just on a delay and presumably with stuff edited out. So maybe it will be there and maybe it won't.
  20. If there's a bright center of the universe, it's the planet that it's the farthest from.
