  1. Yes, on to the 2nd inning. I'm gonna enter to see if someone's there

  3. You think? I considered TPM more like the previous scores, not as much, though
  4. Oh, so that's what Tributes was on the Chicago concerts, huh? I did read the reviews, but I guess I missed that somehow. I also would replace Elegy which is way overrated in this community. Heartwood is superior.
  5. Oh, well. Sad, though, the way things have turned out. Williams The Days Between Oliver Reichhardt, piano
  6. If you are referring to Star Wars then the original 1977 version is what I prefer, but I think you already know that. The 1997 "Special Edition" is rotten and the TV version Daniel mentions doesn't exist. Neil I also prefer tthe original versions. I have the widescreen movies they released in 1995. But with time the tape gets those things that pass across the screen, they're ruined. Lucas should release them on DVD for his own good, or else
  7. Married with Children should have ended with a theme for Al, not Kelly. Al was the hero there.
  8. As long as they don't make that crappy musical that crappy Rosie O'Fat produced. John Williams - The Days Between (Oliver Reichhardt, piano)
  9. Williams also said he'd be using the leitmotif techinque when scoring the new Star Wars films, but in Episode II I think he forgot about that. There are virtually no themes other than the "Across the Stars" love theme, and some motifs that change, not being too constant in that regard
  10. As long as Lucas doesn't replace Sir Alec Guiness with Ewan McGregor standing in in those scenes he made. And the lightsabers turned into walkie-talkies :S Williams Escapades for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra Dan Higgins, sax Recording Arts Orchestra of Los Angeles John Williams
  11. Verhoeven's a so-so director, but it's fun to se his films
  12. Oh you sick sick person. I listen to it all the time. But anyways the cd i regret getting was Pearl Harbor I love Williams, but The Patriot is, for a lack of better way to say it, not the best score by Williams. But it's a thousand times much better than that Pearl Harbor crap.
  13. Ah, that explains a whole bunch of other things
  14. You're loss. But some of film music, and most of Williams music stands by itself, with no necesity of the film whatsoever. Williams Theme from Seven Years in Tibet Yo-Yo Ma, cello Recording Arts Orchestra of Los Angeles John Williams
  15. It's a very beautiful theme, very regal, but unlike the original piece used on the television show, it's different with strings and woodwinds being more prominent than brass. I wish I could find more music like this by Williams, which is very hard. But then again, all Williams music is good
