To be honest, they could have just included a 9th disc with suites from that album. But I suppose it is the same situation as when LLL or Intrada include the original album as a bonus. I also watched the first two episodes the other day. People behind this clearly get what X-Men are about. I love all the nods to the comic books I used to read as a kid. I hope the MCU version will be more like this - deep philosophical questions and a bit of fun off-beat family soap drama. Make it about stuff but don't brood. So far, I am hooked. Karol

Having heard the entire album now, I can say this is definitely very solid. Not outstanding, as others have pointed out, but I really enjoyed myself during those 61 minutes. The final track is indeed the best of the lot. Karol

My first conscious experience with Goldsmith's music was going to see The Mummy with friends back in 1999. I wasn't necessarily a fan right off the bat, but I definitely noticed the music in the film and it stuck in my head. Before that, I was obviously familiar with his Enterprise theme from TNG shows. My first Goldsmith album was Star Trek: Insurrection which I bought somewhere in 2001. Karol

Got this today. Took a bit longer but that's because ordering directly to the UK would be to expensive so I sent this to my mum's in Poland. Disappointed about the packaging not being jewel case to match I-V but what can you do. Karol
