  1. Haha no. I edit them myself using some fancy editing software.
  2. Not that we can't, but we shouldn't. I know plenty of Mormons who cuss
  3. It's not about the rating, It's about the content. That's all I'm trying to say. There are plenty of PG-13 movies I would never watch, but something like the Matrix, where the only reason it's R is because the song during the credits says the F-word 4 times, is totally different.
  4. It's because I'm super religious haha. While not specifically a rule that we're not supposed to watch R movies, it's generally frowned upon. If I do watch an R rated movie it almost always edited (but not 100% of the time) EDIT: What I'm trying to say, is that I don't watch movies that are inappropriate regardless of the rating.
  5. I'm glad it was pg-13, and yeah, there doesn't need to be a sequel
  6. I can read most Latin based language, but not super well. I took two years of Spanish in high school. It's definitely something I want to learn more when I get the chance.
  7. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring-Extended edition I've never been the hugest fan of the films, but this time I enjoyed watching it more than usual. I generally find the score overwhelming, but I actually really enjoyed it this time.
  8. Star Wars: The Force Awakens This score is so good. It has the thematic mastery of the original trilogy, but maintains the ambiance that made the prequels so awesome. Rad
  9. Pinocchio Watched this for my film class. I watched this like and infinity times as a little kid, but I haven't seen it since I was like five, so it was almost like watching it for the first time. Pretty good. Didn't change my life or anything Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds I went with my roommate to see this because the international cinema program was showing it on film, and I'd only seen it once. The first time I saw it, I wasn't really paying attention (and I think I had to leave early), so this was a good chance to actually watch it. I really really like this film. The visual storytelling is awesome. My roommate brought up a really good point about how WWII affected how Japan views the apocalypse differently than it did the West. I definitely realized there was a difference, even if I don't know exactly what it was.
  10. Grand Illusion I watched this for my Intro to Film class. I'm sure it's a really great movie, but I was having a really hard time paying attention, so I didn't really get that much out of it. Probably something I'll rewatch in the future.
  11. The Return of the King I went thrift shopping with my roommates and I was this score, so of course I bought it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  12. Watched this in my Music Civ class today. My teacher made some comment about how John Williams wasn't attractive, but I'm not too angry.
  13. Hopefully he does good. I don't know too much about actors, so I'm not gonna speculate there. I like Lynch's version solely for the aesthetic. I think it was the perfect match for Dune. I'm sure that whatever Villeneuve does it will look good though.
  14. Eraserhead I honestly don't know what to say about this film. I both enjoyed it and hated it at the same time.
  15. I've seemed to notice that "Egyptian" styled music emphasize use of augmented seconds frequently
  16. The Incredibles Easily my favorite Pixar film. It's made in a way that's incredibly (pun intended) enjoyable for children and adults to watch, without having hidden inappropriate humor. Giacchino's score is exceptional, with fun and fitting themes. Can't wait for the sequel.
  17. Not sure. I just like the song, so I posted the first video of it that showed up on youtube haha.
