  1. Rey's theme is good, but it feels just a bit more incohesive than Across the Stars to me. They're both incredible themes, but I like across the stars just a little bit more.
  2. Jodorowsky's Dune. Ehhh. His vision for Dune doesn't really seem correct to me. Also, the claim that it would have replaced Star Wars as the first major blockbuster doesn't really make sense to me. A major part of Star Wars's success was the fact that it was a family friendly film. Jodorowsky's vision for Dune might have been groundbreaking, but it hardly seemed to be intended for a family audience. I did like the sequence at the end showing all the movies that may have taken inspiration from Jodorowsky's Dune. It was pretty neat.
  3. It kind of reminded me of the concept of Slaughterhouse-Five.
  4. Star Trek I: The Motion Picture Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan Finals week, so I actually had time to listen to something because I've been studying all day!
  5. Arrival My parents took me out to see this. I thought it was pretty good, but they hated it. I am a little confused by some of it, but I've got to let it settle.
  6. He did say "sample". I'm sure it's not really that big of a deal.
  7. Gentlemen Broncos This movie had some really funny parts, but it wasn't super great. No clue why it has 18% on Rotten Tomatoes though. I would expect it to be more around 40ish. It was also pretty weird that it was filmed like ten minutes from my house.
  8. Star Wars: The Force Awakens I hadn't driven my car in a while, and this was in there, so when I drove home today, I decided to give it a listen. Pretty dang good.
  9. No, it's actually pretty terrible, but in a fun way, and not in a way that detracts from it
  10. I've been watching the Flash recently. This show is sooo cheesy. I love it. I feel like I'm watching the classic Batman. It's obviously not the exact same, but the campiness of the show is fun. It's fun to watch, just to listen to the terrible science explanations and the really bad one liners.
  11. Sky High Not even that good of a movie, but I still liked it. I mean, it's not like this hurt it at all: I'm talking about the poster in the background, just so everyone knows.
  12. I don't even need to see the movie now. The trailer showed everything.
  13. Haha, I guess I totally misread this haha. I don't actually know what their favorite movies are.
  14. They better do a good job. The problem with the first one is that it makes no sense unless you already know what's going on. The Sci-fi miniseries was alright I guess, but I didn't particularly like the casting.
  15. I don't know. I don't understand why they think that. You asked me what my favorite movies were, not my roommates.
  16. Maybe. The shining was pretty good, but I don't really feel a need to watch it again. I never want to watch 2001 again though. I was just needlessly slow.
  17. True, none of my roommates like ET at all. They think it's too creepy. I for one think it's a great film.
  18. The Shining Pretty good, I guess. Not something I'd ever want to watch again, but it was worth watching once. I wasn't expecting to like this after my experience with 2001, but I was pleasantly surprised.
  19. Somewhere in the third season of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. I get the feeling that a lot of people on here wouldn't like it, but I do.
  20. Is this supposed to be some passive aggressive jab at me based on my movie taste? Uhhh, I like Napoleon Dynamite. Star Wars is pretty good (I'm talking about the whole series in general, not one specific movie). The Sixth Sense is good. Rear Window is up there. I'm having a really hard time thinking of movies that I like more than others.
