  1. I haven't heard a word about PoA sessions floating around. Just Chamber of Secrets.
  2. Could the Chamber of Secrets Recording Sessions just be around the corner? . . .. Maybe
  3. Yeah, it's legit. It is the film version, so it will include edits as indicated. But it does have some unreleased music. If it were the sessions without edits it would be more worthwhile to get. But since this score was written back in 1984, this is probably as close to getting any kind of sessions from TOD. So, I don't know. Maybe I should just be content with the Concorde version.
  4. Someone has the Temple of Doom (Film Version Recording Sessions) Here's what is included on it. I don't have track times or total disc time yet but should. By looking at these track titles, would it be worth getting? No Sfx and supposedly good stereo sound. 5. Any word on this promo? How many were made. Is anyone selling it or trading it. I know this is not John Williams but I think it is one of the more important scores of the year and it was rejected. If only Williams had it in him to create music like this.
  6. I think the original tracks are very good if not better than the rerecording. I don't think the LSO plays vastly superior over the original tracks at all. The track Gillian's Power kicks ass over the re-recording.
  7. I've listened to the new Varese Club deluxe edition to Williams The Fury and I have to tell you that the original tracks ARE superior to the album re-recording even though it is with the LSO. I even think the performance of the LA orchestra did a better job. The track Gillian's Power blows away the album version, where the guy blows up. The track Lifting Susan is a powerhouse track that I can't believe was left off the original album. Plus the OST has better sound. The sound is tighter and more up front than what you get with the re-recording. Even though we've got both versions, it's the original tracks I'll be listening to but then again I've had the album version for 24 years, so maybe I need a different perspective and besides I just prefer original tracks and original performance. Isn't that where this great music started from?
