They should have made an equal amount of Indiana Jones ones.
No reason not to; there is a nearly infinite amount of potential with that story concept.

"Less notable" would be a better phrase to use than "worse than", when comparing two great movies.

Hugo - Never have I seen a movie that so vividly celebrates the magic of cinema. Shore's enchanting score was fantastic as well.

That's the senior writer for Vanity Fair. Assuming/hoping she wouldn't have responded at all if they weren't doing another one.
 
Their coverage on TFA had the first comments from Williams, I think, so hopefully there would be something on the score.

Anyways, this story sounds really promising. Nothing we've seen in a previous Star Wars movie, that's for sure. Almost like James Bond in space. it sounds like we'll finally get a spy mission/espionage type of Star Wars movie, rather than a melodramatic father-daughter drama, which R1 eventually took its final form as. I'm sure TLJ will include some of that family stuff, but it sounds like this film will really be trying to branch out from the typical style and feel of the previous films in the series, which could be really interesting and fresh.
 
 
I'm also about 99.99% sure the romance in TLJ will be between Finn and Rose.

The only political view I need regarding music is that Williams trumps the competition. 

Tintin for both easily and I really like both. Tintin is Williams masterpiece before VII.

I've been lucky to have had some time to listen to a fair few tracks from this score over the last 24 hours, and I think it's more ambitious than the film itself. 

I hear zero Star Trek in the 3 Star Trek scores he did!

I find "Cornfield Chase" from the Interstellar soundtrack to be even better than "Stay". Such a layered and dazzling track.

Well, he does have a diet Coke. That's a bonus.
