This isn't real.
Now, choose which pill you want.

John reacted to BloodBoal in Star Wars ORIGINAL UNALTERED trilogy possibility(?) in HD!
The best way to honor him would be to alter the films even more.

I want them to be so CGI, it makes Yoda in AOTC look photo-realistic.

er.. not that i remember of.
This franchise does not have lousy CGI. Maybe some shots or scenes. But overall, it is not bad at all.

They should just reboot the series with Chris Pratt as Indy.

Great news -- Williams could finish RPO, take a few months off, then spend the rest of 2018 writing Star Wars IX (assuming he wants to do it...)
I doubt anyone here could've expected Williams would write 3 new Star Wars scores in the space of 4 years in his mid-80s.

I also love how the DOS soundtrack and the first half or so of the BOTFA soundtrack have this neat exotic feel that we haven't heard before in a Middle Earth film. Then the second half of the BOFTA soundtrack begins to seamlessly change into the style and feel of the music of LOTR.

It'll be nice, after watching VIII, we won't have to wait another year for the next Star Wars movie.

Who else loves the use of the "An Ancient Enemy" theme in the beginning of "Ravenhill"?
And the soft vocal rendition of the Laketown theme at the end of "The Darkest Hour" is so eerily beautiful.

It has its perks, but you're leaving yourself open to STDs.

That must have been what Galen Erso thought when he designed the Death Star; make it so horribly unsafe that stormtroopers and officers will risk a fall. There was more self sabotage than just the trench hole that makes it blow up.

Because Vader hated 'hand' rails. He always felt like they were taking the piss.
Remember Vader and Luke's duel in Cloud City; Vader didn't want to destroy Luke, he wanted to destroy all the hand rails, but Luke kept getting in the way:
And when Luke was becoming like Vader, he was giving in to his hate..
for hand rails...

Well that's kind of the formula, isn't it? Not saying it's original (it clearly isn't) but at least they haven't jumped the shark with clones of Palpatine/Vader or whatever the EU did.
Frankly I'm not convinced Lucas' prequel approach was any better. We basically had the Emperor in disguise through all 3 films, and a new villain-of-the-week in each sequel which, save for the always-reliable Christopher Lee, were cartoonish non-entities.
Star Wars is based on a formula; they're just following the previous incarnations of that formula a little too closely. I have no issues with them keeping the ingredients of Star Wars, but agree they need to mix up the method!

There's gonna be a lot of unintentionally offended cinema staff at the box office booth, that's for sure.
"You want tickets to what?!"
