  1. Now I think about it, I have, in fact I reading that you quite liked Bridge of Spies as well. I'm on the same page as you are, ha. He's not entirely wrong or without reason.
  2. I'm prepared, I've hired simply the best lawyers to defend me. Enguard!
  3. Guess I'm the only person around here who's a fan of Spielberg's "critically acclaimed dramatic phase". What can I say, I thought Lincoln was great, and Bridge of Spies was very good, sue me.
  4. Oh, makes sense I suppose. Ready Player One was shot first though, it just has a longer post-production period anyway.
  5. That version of the vulture theme is strangely "uplifting" sounding too. Guess it fits the title-track, lol.
  6. So I assume between this and Ready Player One, we may have two Spielberg films next year? Even as he gets older, he's still efficient at what he does, delivering films for the summer and Christmas. Props to that.
  7. Aside from that though, his slate is mostly clean though. I'm glad to see him scoring more films though.
  8. I'll say this, for my issues with the score, I quite like the rendition of the Spider-Man theme in Lift Off, good stuff.
  9. Perhaps, but it did seem out of the blue. Of course it doesn't help that I wasn't expecting Williams to not score it, I guess. Still I like the replacement.
  10. Spider-Man: Homecoming - Like the main theme, but the action music is too frenetic for my tastes. Overall I'd say it's a fine score though.
  11. Wow! Silvestri is a worthy replacement actually, and makes sense. He's not doing much these days anyway, so I'm sure someone recommended him or something. Plus since it's an 1980's throwback, so I'm sure the score will follow suit, and be very orchestral and full of themes. I'm actually looking forward to the score.
  12. Unfortunately a bit too repetitive. Intense to listen to sure, but I hope the rest of the score isn't entirely like that either.
  13. It's just an interesting sci-fi film, with a great story, great direction, and superb acting. I've seen it at three times now and it's a film that's really stayed with me, so clearly I quite like it.
  14. It's a hugely entertaining caper film too. I prefer 13 over 12 myself, although I don't mind the trilogy as a whole, they're fun films.
  15. They were a bit distracting for me, I wish they were at least real anyway, since they were obviously CGI, but hey happens I suppose. Disney should have done the modern thing and hired a Zimmer clone to the music, instead of relying on Williams's "old school music".
  16. You probably can't, though you'll be sure they'll try to include them in every film possible, if they can, and if they aren't, you'll see characters screaming "where's the beasts?"
  17. Yep (probably should have worded that a bit better, I meant interview, ha).
